Installed no problem, looks very close to original handle, can't tell the difference. Don't know why I read negative reviews about installing. Only bought it last month but it seems sturdy. If it fails after heavy use I will update this review.

On my last trip when I got to my destination, one of the 2 handles on my large suitcase was broken and missing pieces making it hard to maneuver. Rather than spend a lot of money on a new suitcase I measured and ordered this replacement handle and it worked perfectly. The handle does not match the color of the other one but that does not matter as functionality was most important and this handle was a perfect replacement.Some of the other reviews make me think people don’t measure what they need before ordering but if you measure and purchase the handle that matches the measurements it is a nice quality handle that I think is better that the other remaining handle. I will definitely order this one again if the other handle breaks. Very easy to install and so much less expensive than a new suitcase!

Comfortable, strong handle made out of some kind of flexible plastic-rubber material. On either end is a metal fitting with a plastic insert to keep things in place. Looks good, easy to install. You may need longer screws/bolts, they're a metric size, "M4-07". The photo I uploaded is of the handle installed on a travel kennel which had lost its handle. The product does not have adhesive residue! I had used a piece of duct tape to hold the pieces together while I measured. In my case I needed to use longer screws for the two middle holes due to a depression in the kennel. I found some small metal cylinders/spacers which conceal what would have been exposed screw threads. I mention this because the product reviewed does not come with these, nor would you need them. Overall very pleased, significantly higher quality than I'd expected.

This is the biggest waste of money on all of Amazon. Would be a 5 minute job if they would have included a paper template for the bolt holes. The bolts strip before they even tighten. COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!

Suitcase handle broke after one use. Contemplated throwing it out when I learned a replacement handle might be available. Found this one with the dimensions that most closely fit the original handle. Arrived today and with a little bit of patience it fit fine (doesn’t sit perfectly flat when you compare it to the other handle). You can’t tell it’s a replacement handle (may be better than the original one). Fit with existing screw opening and did not have to make it fit.Very pleased with item and looking forward to using the suitcase again.

Not sure of the sturdiness, Durability will update after the trip, install was not easy but not impossible. just have patients. .
