BOYO VTB16B - Bracket or Flush Mount Backup Camera

I purchased this camera to add the back up camera functionality to my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid with a factory navigation unit and this thing works excellent. It looks great during the day time. During the night it is a tad dark, but not terrible since adding LED back up lights to the vehicle. I would highly recommend any Camry owner with the factory navigation to purchase this camera and add it to your vehicle. It makes backing up much safer and adds modern functionality to an older vehicle. Would buy one again if needed.

I had a different camera mounted in my SUV but the nightime vision was terrible. This one is much better (rated own to 1 lumen) but still low light situations are not the best. I think it would work better if I mounted it outside on the tailgate but since i have a smooth gate, i did not want something sticking out.During the day, the camera works great with good clarity and definition of objects. I have the integrated rearview mirror monitor setup and it works well.Just remember this is not an IR nighttime camera.

Good product

I am rating this low because I had trouble getting it to work well. I installed it into my factory nav system in a toyota camry, where I tapped into the brake light for power and into on of the wriring harness connections for video input. I tried several connection attempts, and the picture was always noisy B&W, or flickering with out of phase color. Somehting wasn't right.I suspect the camers, since I am pretty good at wiring and checked it a couple of times. I guess I need to try an eclipse camera instead

Cheap quality product. ..image very distorted and poor quality. ...night vision is very grainy.stay away from this camera because youll be very disappointed

For a budget back up camera this works very well. Install was easy. It came with the hole saw drill bit to install it flush mounted. I connected it to an alpine stereo head unit.It’s not a high definition camera but it’s worth what you pay for it.
