I bought my comforter right before moving to a new place in Feb of 2020, and it’s still going strong. I absolutely love it. The faux sherpa side has gotten a bit flat and matted as these things do, but it’s in great shape regardless. The “velvet”/microfiber side is still gorgeous and soft after years of washes. It does not hold stains, and I am an “eat on top of the comforter only” bed snacker. One of my cats has these monster claws that snag on everything when her claws start to need a clipping, and while it damages everything else I own, I’ve literally never seen a snag or a hole in this comforter. It’s warm and keeps you cozy without making you sweat. It feels just the right amount breathable to me. All the stitching on the comforter is still intact except for one little part where the seam meets on the bottom edge. It’s been like that for a year now though, and hasn’t gotten worse, and it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I will say the backside of the pillow sham is starting to shred/pucker a bit, I did have a hugely oversized pillow in there for a long time, and I think that’s one place my cat did damage. To reiterate though, these little bits of damage have appeared along the way, but nothing has gotten worse since I’ve noticed in the last year+. That all seems reasonable considering the use I’m getting out of it. It’s definitely not the highest quality, but I would consider it high quality for this extremely reasonable price.Long and short of it, this is my favorite comforter of the last 15 years. I came back to this page looking to buy another one in blue so that laundry day has some leeway, and realized my continued fondness 3 years in warrants a review. Photos show condition and the only places anything isn’t just as the day I purchased it after years in a 2 cat household.

If my room weren't a mess right now, I would include a pic. While I fell in love with the style about a year ago, it took me a while to purchase it. I was afraid I might end up disappointed, but I was happily surprised! My usual year-round set-up is a light-weight velvet blanket and a lightweight quilt. After purchasing this, all I need is this quilt! No need for a blanket and quilt combo anymore. It's quite warm and surprisingly lightweight. I was afraid I would struggle getting it into my stack unit washer/dryer (it lacks some cubic feet vs. free standing ones), but it doesn't send my washer into "Balance Load" mode, so that's a plus.The color online matches what I see on my bed. I bought the Rosy Mauve. My walls are "dusty lilac" (Behr brand) and I have window films with a violet tint (I found them on Amazon), so it may trick the eye into looking more "lilac", but it's not. It truly is a rosy mauve - a beautiful color.I can't believe I haven't mentioned how soft this set is! It's feels "buttery velvet" on the outer side and the inner Sherpa is super soft. I am going to buy a backup set. I spent hours looking at quilts, comforters, bedspreads and tried price-matching this, but couldn't. Amazon had the best price that I could find.If you expect this to be thick, you might not like it. If you are looking for a lightweight, warm, soft, and beautiful looking quilt set... look no more! Kudos to KASENTEX!

I was eyeing this for a while but was afraid to buy thinking it wouldn’t be long enough for my big mattress. I finally got it during a lightening deal and now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long - it is gorgeous! The length/width (90/104) is just right for my bed! I have a 15in cal king mattress with a 2inch topper so most standard size bedding doesn’t fit. I was so pleased to see it covers the mattress perfectly on both sides and even covers the end of the bed!! If you want it to go to the floor it won’t work for a high bed like mine, but it will look lovely covering the mattress.I also wanted a velvet-like texture to add more depth during summer bedding but I needed it to be lighter weight/cooler than my warm and cozy winter comforter. This does the trick! It’s warm enough to keep you comfortable with the AC blasting, but not so warm you have to kick it off during the night.The color is exactly as pictured and the top is a low pile velvety texture that looks stunning in person. It washed nicely in cold water and low heat drying, it didn’t shrink at all. It’s a heavier weight than most quilts, which I really appreciate with a 90lb dog that tends to mess up my bedding. Even at the full price I’d recommend this bedding, it’s very well made and is so lovely in person.

I purchased this quilt in “birch sand”, the photos shown online seem to be more of an off white/cream color. The quilt I received while it is soft to the touch, the color is more of a tan/beige.I’ve had it for 2 days now and while the look is pretty, it’s not really comfortable. It’s not thick at all, so using it as a main comforter isn’t the comfiest, the backing isn’t too soft either.

KASENTEX Plush Poly Velvet Lavish Design Quilt Set - Luxurious Bedding Soft & Warm Machine Washable Coverlet (Holly Red, Queen ) --- says Holly Red -- but it is a beautiful rich color of Burgundy , this is not what I wanted, I was looking for a bright red quilt to match my new cherry red sheet set that I brought from another vendor at Amazon, so after I received this burgundy looking color I was a bit disappointed but I kept it because it is so beautiful and expensive looking, the material is quality made, so I decided to purchase a burgundy sheet set to pair with my new quilt and now that I have all the pieces to put together a beautiful bed ,I'm feeling very happy about having this quilt and sham set its so pretty, oh well off to the next hunt .I still need to find a coverlet set to match the set of cherry red sheets. Happy shopping 🛒

Beautiful Sherpa throw kingsize ,feels warm and is beautiful to touch ,comes a little wrinkled in places but easy enough to get out .. quality bed throw with a velvet touch ,will not disappoint if your wanting quality … I’mEditing my review after three months the edging has come apart on one side ,unsure why it’s not been washed yet ,disappointing it’s falling apart after only 10 weeks use

Love the softness and weight that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable enough to easily fall asleep. It looks and feels luxurious. The color is as shown on the picture. I would probably buy another one.
