Great story, poor ebook formatting
5 stars for story and 3 stars for ebook formatThis is a great story! I’m sure the physical book is amazing. The art is colorful and simple and the prose are easy and fun.The main problem is ebook usability. The book has been scanned to digital with both full length panels and individual pages. Type has been added to make reading easier. The problem is that it’s not so easy for a child to use and when I try to read it to my child the flow is very clumsy and not fun for my child.Highly recommend the physical book over the ebook.

Okay Book For Number Recognition
This book was not what I thought but well wroth it.When my little one was learning to count to 100, I thought this book would be ideal. She is a huge fan of Curious George to teaching her to count with her buddy was what I wanted. When we got the book she was so excited I started to read. She counted the 1 bed and the pillows. The further along we got, the more confused she was. For example the 16 rubber ducks were easy to count but the 23 napkins were hard to see. Then again it got easy with the 26 pancakes.Instead of confusing my little one, I took a whole new approach with this book. I started to read this book to her like a typical picture book, As we get to each number, I have her read the numbers and I read the text. I use this as a form of number recognition. If you are looking for a way to help your little one learn to count independently I would not recommend this book. On the same note, this is a fun book that will help your little one recognize numbers.

actually counts from 1 to 100!
I finally found a book that counts out each diget from 1 to 100. Not only is each diget counted out, but each diget has a corresponding group of items that equal that diget...like 12 neckties. I love how it goes through George's day. And there is a story line, too. It's the city's centennial anniversary. George is headed to the centennial fair. He decides that it is a good day to learn to count to 100. First he counts in the house, then outside, then in school while he is visiting Betsy. Lastly, he counts items at the centennial fair. It's easy to go through and just read it or to stop and count all the shoes or all the ducks. I notice that my children (2 and 4) seem to find a new item they are interested in every time we read it. They don't need to stop and count everything, but I find it excellent counting practice because inevitably there a few things each time they want to count plus, every time we read it, they are counting to 100 already anyway! Highly recommended!

Pages can tear, not a board book
I thought this was a board book but the library binding is only a hard cover. Pages seem much too easy for 2-3 year old to rip and that is the intended audience for this. Book is 10.25 in wide and 12.25 in tall so pretty large, it fills an adult's lap and is too large for my 2 yr old to keep in her lap. You can read it on the floor or a table though. Book is very colorful and has fun illustrations. I would love this in a board book, even if it had to be large to accommodate counting to 100. My 2 yr old LOVES Curious George and counting so with concern for pages being torn out it won't be a book she reads independently until she is older.

Best counting book ever
I looked through alot of counting books and reviews trying to find one that counts 1-100 each number. This book goes 1-100 without skipping numbers or starting to count by 10's like all the others seemed to do. It has the alphabet in it and at the very end has a page of all the numbers 1-100 on it as well. It also has a story to the book. Definitely so happy to have found this book.

Great book for counting!
Excellent book! If you don't mind snuggling in for a 20 minute read you are good to go. They count objects for every single number from 1 to 100. If you have a child who needs to count everything on the page every time you read you MAY want to hide this book. 😁 It's likely too much for the under 4 crowd ... my 6 and 4 year old will sit through it.

Wonderful book!
I bought this for my 2 year old daughter who had already mastered the typical 1-20. We love this book! It takes a while to get through because we count every single object in every number but it’s worth it because she now knows how to count to 100. I would highly recommend this book.

Nice concept, but not a joy to read
Buyer beware: This book takes SO long to read, especially with an inquisitive toddler! It’s definitely like a 20-25 minute commitment. On the upside, I read it before bed, and it always makes my son very sleepy.

Just what I was after
Our 18 month had got the hang of 1-10 and we wanted to keep her challenged so were looking for a book that went beyond 10. This book is brilliant as it does 1 to 100 with illustrations for each number (19 bowls, 20 cups, etc.) as well as providing a story as curious George finds these things to count. Highly recommend if you want to teach your kids numbers beyond 10.

Good
This will help me with my 5 year old showing her what 100 means And although I’m not keen on curious George and she doesn’t watch it it doesn’t matter with this book

Glorious George strikes again!
Super book, with a lovely story and clear illustrations, my three year old knows numbers to 20 and is starting to recognise larger numbers too. It was great to find a book with a character whom she loves introduce the concept in a fun and entertaining way. Very pleased with this purchase.
