Super handy! Love them.
I’m glad I picked these up! I used to use a plug in hitachi, but I got sick of switching bits and drivers, also having to plug in. These things can put in WORK for a 12v!!! I’ve used them for at least a year now and currently using them a ton in a bathroom remodel. The drivers are also holding up well to the work. I haven’t noticed any decrease in battery efficiency. They’re smaller and a better size for anyone with smaller hands, mobility or joint issues, or those that work on ladder and don’t want to accidentally drop a bigger drill like an 18v. I have big hands and live these.I’ve lately been investing in more Dewalt, but not a drill or driver yet. I like these so much I’m worried I’ll hate bigger ones, or that they don’t carry something as handy as these.

Right tools for the jobs I do.
I was looking to replace my old Porter Cable compact Drill & Driver set because batteries are no longer available for those. I am a craftsman and car restorer, not a contractor doing big construction jobs. These are precision 12V tools with BRUSHLESS motors and, as long batteries are available, will be perfect for the kind of work I do. If you are building houses go buy big 20V tools. (Yeah, I have one of those to beat the crap out of when working outside) If you appreciate good ergonomic design and easy to handle "right size" precision tools then buy these.

"Grab'em, you'll be glade you did"
Yep, I brought these cause that battery stick-n out at the bottom limits access, thank goodness for the battery loaded pistol grip (handle), this is a great buy, nice, durable with a great case.

Absolutely delivers!!
First off, I have a fantastic drill/impact set of a Japanese brand that have given me 15 years of flawless service and absolutely did not need replacing. But the algorithm, it knows me. And after admiring these for a few weeks, i decided it’d be really nice not to have to contend with the bulky battery pack.Bosch is up front in the promo video that the smaller battery does mean it can’t handle a few things, but that it would cover something like 85-95% of what a pro electrician needs.Im pretty sure that this will cover 99.9% of what a home handy gal or shade tree mechanic like myself needs. The lack of a bulky battery is a game changer! Packs much smaller when you need to take it with you, too. Had it for two days and been finding things to take apart and put back together just to use it. Love it already!

ESTE PRODUCTO DEBE HACE PARTE DE LAS PRINCIPALES HERRAMIENTAS DEL HOGAR
The media could not be loaded. El producto es de buena calidad, muy practico para hacer trabajos basicos del hogar.El taladro no es apto para realizar trabajo pesado, materiales duros.El atornillador funciona muy bien.

Durable
Bought this kit after deciding to upgrade from my old Bosch Impactor. Similar design, same battery pack. I had my old one for over ten years. So I know this one will most likely be with me a while. I am also highly impressed with the drill as well. I needed something in my tool kit that was less powerful than my 20v, for more intricate work. It feels great on my hip and even better in my hands. Quite the nifty little work horse. I was slightly disappointed with the charger. However I have my Bosch 12V rapid charger and it works for these batteries, so not a real issue for me. Overall a fantastic set that I’d highly recommend, it’s ergonomic, durable and gets the job done.

Best drills on the flight line.
I use these as an aircraft mechanic and among my coworkers with many different drills these definitely stand out. Screws on airplanes are never really tight but they often have stripped heads. That is where the impacting bit driver is perfect. The hammering action starts with very little resistance from the screw which is not true of higher voltage impacts. The hammering action almost pounds your phillips bit deeper into the screw and after about a second of gentle but firm hammering the screw is free. I will only use the impact to remove stubborn almost stripped screws as when installing it has no adjustment and will over torque them to quickly. The RPM on the impact is just ridiculously fast but still easy to control. Its also great to use it for nuts and bolts on projects not airplane related with a 1/4 inch drive socket to bit adapter to just snap on sockets.I read reviews saying they received drills with a wobbly chuck. Mine is straight. the drill has good speed for drilling sheet metal in second gear and good torque in first gear. The adjustable clutch works like it should. I have it on 5 most the time and it places the screws with equal torque. These drills came with the higher MAH batteries. (2.0 amp hour) and the slow charger which takes one hour to fully charge a dead battery. The quick one takes 30min so not a huge difference. The only negative I have on the drill is its locking chuck that locks when you are off the trigger seems to turn about an eighth of a turn before actually locking this can sometimes be annoying as I often break the torque by twisting the whole drill before pressing the trigger. I am learning you can press the trigger to take up this slack then twist the drill. Its fine just takes some time getting used to.What makes these great is the size I get to use my drills way more often and get jobs done faster than my coworkers because their drills just wont fit in the space or inside the panel. I charge the batteries about every two weeks because I only use them for delicate light duty aircraft screws they seem to last forever. If the drill battery dies in a job I switch it with the one from the impact which gets used less then charge both batteries a few days after that.I really want to get another drill only for use around the house. It comes close to replacing the common hand held screwdriver because their size, grace and ease of use.
