Finally decided to take the dive and get a coat rack and being that we'd already bought a coffee table from the same VASAGLE collection that has held up well for over a year, we decided to go with this one.Assembly;Pretty straight forward, might help to have an extra set of hands here and there but overall it was pretty similar to what you might expect from an IKEA purchase, for example (although the provided tools for assembly are much better than IKEA).Sturdiness;Obviously you get what you pay for and this is reasonably priced so it isn't infallible. With that being said, it's holding full shelves of shoes/boots and rack of coats/jackets with no issue. It is also possible to sit on whilst loaded without feeling as though it's going to buckle or anything like that.Shelving;As you will be able to see from the pictures, we've got a variety of different kinds of shoes and they all fit quite comfortably; Timberland boots, Dr Marten boots, heels etc.Hooks;The hooks are metal and feel quite substantial. They hold all coats/jackets we've tried well without snagging any material.All in all I would say this coat rack is a great value for money purchase that has served to do exactly what we wanted it to; give us a place to store the items we use most and make the hallway less sterile and give it a bit more of a homely feel.The build quality matches what we've experienced with the coffee table and we expect that this will also stand the test of time.TL;DRDoes the job well, looks good, quite sturdy & great value for money 👍

Love this unit, easy to put up, stylish, so functional and good quality. The only downside is the screws are for the hangers are quite small so might not hold much weight.

Looks good, easy to build and stable but the hooks and their fixings let it down. The hooks feel cheap but they work but the prefilled holes are to deep for the screws provided and so 3 hooks have only one good fixing. It's an easy fix for me but for others it will be frustrating.

Love the finished product, looks fantastic. Only issue I had was a couple of screws which had some loose metal stuck in them which was resolved with a bit of time and a pen knife. After that everything was a breeze to put together, and looks great
