Perfect Flute, Easy to Play
This is a gorgeous little flute that takes hardly any force to blow crisp, clear notes through. Got it to eventually take to a future renaissance festival and I can't wait to get practicing!(P.S. This flute comes in a little cardboard box from the company, both in perfect shape. Was sent in a large, triangular shipping box which gave it more than enough space to ship safely.)

Love this whistle!
First of all ... I'm new to the tin whistle and learning. That said, I'm very satisfied with this one as my first whistle. The tone is very nice and the whistle is very forgiving to learning breath control. I'm currently working my way through the Clarke Tin Whistle book. It will show up with "Frequently Bought Together" section of the item info. DEFINITELY purchase the book with the whistle. It's a "must have". If you're browsing around for your first whistle (or second) ... this is the one! Price and value are perfectly matched! My second whistle is the Dixon Trad D Nickel. Very nice whistle (read the reviews) but does require a little more breath control than the Clarke. I did a review on it also.

it's a good bargain.
It's not a high-power instrument, but that makes it easier to play. Plus, for what it costs, it's a good bargain.

My favorite high D whistle
This is my favorite standard/high D whistle. I had a Sweetone first, and I like those whistles, but this one has an airy kind of tone that I prefer. Inexpensive, sounds great, and seems to be well intonated. Hard to go wrong with this one.

Spend more on a tunable option
Mine is very out of tune on every note.

Much better then the cheapo tin whistles out there
I love the sound. The wooden mouthpiece was worth the investment.

Would not recommend this whistle to anyone.
Breathy and unremarkable sound, uncomfortable to hold, bad intonation in both octaves. Long history of making whistles by this manufacturer and 'Made in England' stamp did nothing for the playability of the product I received.
