How To Build Monkey Bars (On The Cheap) Kindle Edition

Jason's writing style is both funny and clear. I built the monkey bars shown with a few slight alterations (I made the ladder sides longer and sunk them in the ground). I also stained and painted mine, which added a few extra steps. The bars are solid and I'm sure the structure will be with us for years to come.

Basics of construction and materials, simple sketches, silly humor, for a buck on Kindle you can’t go too wrong with this.

These instructions were simple and effective. Definitely worth the cost even if you end up modifying. The sandwich construction to hold the dowels was really smart. And the author adds a little Dad humor in there for good measure ;)

I don’t believe the author has ever built anything in his life. If you are looking for plans for monkey bars for you kid, don’t waste time or money on this. Google monkey bars and look at the images and you will be better off!

It was very easy to follow these plans and it only took an afternoon to build. The kids love it!
