Old Style Starter Fuse
An FS-2 starter fuse was exactly what I needed for my old 1950s era bathroom vanity lights. To install, pull the light shade to uncover the old fuse, twist, and it's out. Plug in the new. You might have to jiggle the new fuse to be sure the contact points are secured. But about two minutes overall. Easy fix. Only other thing you should know is you get multiple fuses with this purchase, not just one. I think about ten of them. But as Bruce Wayne said to his butler Alfred after ordering parts for his Batman headgear, "At least we have plenty of spares." Seriously, it's good to know companies still make these old style fuses, otherwise countless owners of old homes would be spending a fortune for new bathroom lighting!

The one I tried out of the box worked great.

Part was,a little different at the,base and,had to remove the socket to get the starter to turn on. Works great.

Perfect fit
I was concerned of whether I would be able to replace a very old starter from an even older medicine cabinet, but I was able to locate the very same starter on Amazon. Worked perfect.
