Good power
I was shocked at how much better this works than my 40 year old Craftsman! Good power, easy to use. Seems well made.I wanted a plug in drill so I dont have to deal with charging batteries.

Quality you expect from DEWALT products.
Great drill like "back in the day" when men used drills that were corded and had a chuck key. Weight is just right and well balanced. Box stores in the Baltimore area only stock cumbersome heavy weight keyless drills for those who don't know better. You will love this drill!

Good Unit But...
...I agree with one minor complaint pointed out by other evaluators. Overall, the drill works great with plenty of power and a solid chuck. The tool's only flaw is in the speed control. I note that though the drill is supposed to have variable speed control, that control is not very sensitive and it tends to jump from one speed to the next. It does tend to hold that speed once you stop moving the trigger and maintains that speed but it is difficult to find any particular speed you may want. This is usually not a big problem but something a purchaser may want to know.Overall, a good tool with a good "feel". I'm pleased with my purchase, Turn Key.

Dewalt Electric drill corded
Sometimes you just need the power of electric tools over cordless.

Corded, for those all day jobs.
Cords are great for long jobs. Dewalt doesn't miss.
