Out of all the recipe books I own this one serves a very unique purpose. First of all it is very health conscious. That means that it calls for some particular ingredients that might not be common household stock. I don't mind that but it's something to be aware of.The drinks also present incredibly well if the directions are followed exactly. The authors are also hypersensitive to concerns expecting mothers might have about their diets.I appreciated that the authors were also sensitive to father-to-be and gave some ideas on how drink recipes might be adapted for them. The pre-pregnancy part of the book was thoughtful as well and well done.A fun book with wider applicability than just expectant mothers. Some really dazzling mocktail drinks are included that could make for fun presentations for any meal.

My best friend is a huge cocktail lover. She’s pregnant and missing her drinks so this was a fun activity to do in a group of friends that had her feeling like herself and having fun with everyone. Very cute book with a lot of fun ideas. Great to do with a group or to give as a gift for your pregnant friend.

This was a gift to a friend. She loves it and has made many of the recipes in the first few weeks! I might just have to get one for myself! Great combinations of ingredients and flavors!

Bought this for a pregnant girlfriend. We like going out for cocktails, so this was so fun to try out different cocktails without the alcohol. They were mostly all delicious. And easy to make. Most ingredients if you already make cocktails you’d have on hand

Book arrived promptly and in appropriate packaging. Then the fun started. The nutritional information is excellent, recipes are easy to follow, and the results are delicious. The Virgin Mary was a big hit with our group. We set out a lot of different ingredients for several other options in the book. The fun started with people began looking through the book and creating their own drinks, tasting, and sharing their creations. No alcohol created more social engagement, interaction, and creativity. Plus people drove home safely. Unexpected positive side effects. The book would definitely be fun for pregnant women but no one at our party was pregnant and that didn’t matter.
