The only one that works
Everybody looking for a Gonbes GBS 8200 needs to read this. I literally bought every version that Amazon has to offer and this one is the only one that worked properly. All of the others had some combination of firmware problems, subpar build quality, and outright missing components. This board is also the latest version of the Gonbes available (V5) and most of the other sellers offer the older V4, known for issues. Seriously, do yourself a favor and just get this one.

You will need to adjust the three pots to get color even
This is the one that worked great on my namco system 12 soulcalibur arcade board. You will have to fiddle with the three pots near the inputs to even out all the colors. Also another note this board has the yellow buttons. The Mcbazel board was my first try and it did not work picture would not keep a steady signal to the monitor causing no signal after a few minutes. This one is works perfectly. Now I can complete my Soulcalibur barcade.

Needs combined sync to work!
It seems there are several versions of this board floating around. I wound up with v5.1 (yellow buttons)I tried to use this on an older system that had separated (h/v) sync and after fumbling around with the settings I found that it didn't work with that device. I did a few more tests and found that separated sync doesn't work at all out of the box with this thing, even on a standard vga connection.It is possible to get it to function correctly with a bit of modification (look up gbs-control) but does require some technical knowledge.

Bit difficult to figure out how to install
Nice product, but would not recommend you buy it if you don't know how to install it.

Great kit
Purchased a poly game master and it would not work with my neobitz encoder. Purchased this to replace it and it has worked fantastically.

One of the two ordered worked
I was prewarned by a collegue that there was a high failure rate on these boards. I doesn't seem to matter which brand. So I ordered an extra, I was glad that I did.

If you have a Med Rez video game, you will want this to convert to DB15 hi-rez LCD. Works great!
Great if your med rez CRT went out, and you want to replace with LCD. My WAR GODS board sat for 20 years, and then I found this convertor board. WAR GODS is back baby!

Great working board when they work.
Ordered 1 and it has worked fine. Ordered another and it lasted one day. Used it for several hours and the next day it would not work!
