Impressed!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great introduction to automation and robotics. This robot arm was easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear and detailed. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. If you’re into robotics and you’re looking to have some fun then this is the kit for you. It has a good amount of torque, the programming is really easy and allows for quick setup and run. Very good customer support.

Great product, even better customer service
This product was very fun to build and is super cool when it is all put together. The instructions were very easy to follow and do a good job of explaining what should go where. I did have an issue with the servo motors but when I contacted customer service, they responded super quickly and were very helpful. They wound up sending me 4 new motors in the matter of a couple of days which resolved my issue. Overall this is a great product for people who like putting stuff together and watching their creations work.

A fun kit, but not very strong.
This kit was really fun to put together. There are several control knobs for many degrees of movement. It is not a very strong grip however. It has a low limit of weight that it can pick up. It is educational for robotics. I bought it two years ago, and now it stopped working, it doesn't turn on anymore.

Value for money, but the kit could use some improvement like WiFi capability.
ProThe kit seemed to work and function as described in the product features (ie control via potentiometer, GUI with processing, python GUI via USB connection to computer)ConThis kit came equipped with the WiFi and Bluetooth expansion slots capability, but the documentation didn’t cover any of it. Contacted Adeept to suggest that they add instructions on how to add Wifi and Bluetooth control to the robotic arm, but didn’t get a reply.

pieces break way to easy. wasted money on this because of that

Great customer service!
This robot was a birthday gift for my son with the intention of taking it to the county fair. Less than two weeks before the fair, two plastic pieces were broken (it is unclear to me how but not fault of vendor/manufacturer). I contacted customer service and they said they would send the parts. Since the parts would come from China, they wouldn’t arrive fast enough so they offered to send a kit from an Amazon warehouse and we agreed on price. They arrived in plenty of time to repair the robot. The build was not complicated but it took some finesse with holding parts and bolts/nuts. We have yet to figure out the programming.

DON'T BUY IT
So I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2021. She just got around to building it. The building part was "fun".. meaning it was more fun trying to figure out the cryptic instructions, but being an engineer for 25 years I walked her through it. Building it was the only entertaining part of this mess. Instructions were so out of date it was pathetic. The coding for this was all wrong. I have programed in 9 different computer languages from assembly to C#, i know them very well. The code for this was horrible because it just doesn't work. Very poorly put together "samples" and most of them have errors to debug to get it to run. Then when all that works, the servos burned out(not that they work that well from the start). So under powered its a joke. The website... o boy... what 10 year old Chinese intern wrote that??? There is NO HELP OR SUPPORT FOR THIS AT ALL. I wanted my daughter to learn the ins and outs of troubleshooting and last resort contact tech support.. well.. after sitting and watching her struggle to make any sense of their website to contact for assistance, I got involved. The website was a total mess. I felt like I was at some 3rd graders web site project or I was at a phishing site.If it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to be bothered going to the post office overseas i would send this back. I don't even want a refund, its not about the money. I could care less about the 60 bucks this costs nor the 100 bucks to ship to me in Thailand. it is just tossed in a box to sit, probably until I can't stand looking at it anymore then i will throw it in the trash.Bottom line, don't waste your time or money on this one. Better off buying a raspberry pi (when the price gouging comes down) and have your kid learn coding and robotics that way. this product is garbage. total garbage. You buy it after my warning it is on you. trust me you will be sorry if you do buy it.
