Great value for the money
Great value for the money! I purchased this net to catch rock crabs in Bodega Bay, a first time crab trip for me. Since I was also clamming and fishing, I wanted to start with a single net to see how it went. The kit comes with everything you need: The pull line, the net, a floatie, a bait pin and a gauge to measure your crabs. I decided against the use of the bait pin and instead zip-tied a bait cage to the bottom hoop. http://amzn.to/2uUuD1f. This worked well and prevented the crabs from eating all of the bait.In just a few hours I was able to catch 16 keeper rock crabs. A great success for a first trip, and I am purchasing two more for future trips!

Missing parts listed in description
The product description lists these items as coming with the net:Includes crab gaugeIncludes 48 ft. of retrieval lineIncludes bait pinNone of these were included, so it was the net only. I saw from someone else's image that they had received a bag with these, and it looks like mine did not come with this bag.The ring net seems fine, but I need to decide whether i return and try again, or go out and buy a separate line so I can use it I already have a crab gauge, and can jury ring a bait clip).

Great nets!
Great crabbing net even in the rough water of San Francisco Bay. The net comes with a bait pin and a ruler to measure your clams/crabs. The down side to this net is that the netting on the bottom is a bit wide, some crabs have been able to slip through. I do advise you to take a rather larger bait box or snare box if you are using this net. Overall it is very sturdy and stink to the bottom from my experience. It is well worth the price.

Net received is just a tad different than pictured, but still a great crab net that needs minimal rigging customization.
First off, the product shipped looks a little different from the picture shown. I have two of the silver ring traps ordered in July 2015, that look like the item shown (July 2017). The silver ones appear to be galvanized marine grade rust free metal. I've used them many times with no rusting at all, however I do rinse them off after each usage (as I do with all my saltwater gear).I decided to purchase 10 more of these traps because the cheaper "linked" metal crab traps I've used over the years have started to break down after visible amounts of rusting. Those are about $10-12 each, but don't come rigged and cost out about $20 after getting them rigged the way I like, so basically not much less than the Danielson rigged crab net (when they are $23 shipped). The 10 crab traps I just recently received were coated metal and blue in color, with green rope. I'm not sure what kind of metal is under the thin blue rubber coating, but it's probably not marine grade...othewise why would it be coated? Nonetheless, it performed well in the outing I used it. But it's hard to say what would happen if the coating was punctured and the underneath metal is exposed, and how they hold up in the long run. This is how I rig the nets: The crab measuring tool has a small eyelet which I tie to the pull rope with a double overhand knot. The tool also is used as a rope keeper because it comes with 48ft of line that can get tangled very quickly. Then from the free end of the line is tied to a 3/8" eyelet marine grade carabiner (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZQ5L27/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) using a palomar knot. The carabiner is then clipped to the ring trap loop harness. The crab trap has an extra loop strand of nylon netting that sticks out of bottom of the net, this is used for adding additional weight. I usually attach a 4oz pyramid sinker onto that loop, depending on the current and weight of the bait used. The net also comes with a bait clip. If I use chicken, I pierce the chicken with the clip then attach it to the bottom ring platform. If I use fish or clams, I use a bait keeper net. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CQ7FBVM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1For storage, I simply unclip the carabiner on the traps and keep the line winded on the crab tool and put them into a storage box with the bait clips. The ring nets stack pretty easily on each other, just alternate the location of the harness line buoy so they're not all stacked in the same location that would create a bulge.Shipping Issues: Each net was shipped individually, and they are large (30" in diameter). Some came in a box, some in cardboard that was as flat as the ring, and some in large plastic UPS pouches. Of the last 10 blue nets I received, I had to return 2 of them. One was totally bent in and no longer resembled anything close to a circle. The other had an issue with the knot that holds the buoy and 3 harness lines together. But of course, Amazon's return system was amazing and they cross shipped 2 nets by the time I went on my trip.

Little upset!
I was happy my order was arrived too early as I expect it, but the problem is in the description of my ordered item which is a Danielson crab net it states that it includes a crab gauge, a 48 feet rope and a bait pin which cannot be found inside the package, I don’t know what happen to those items which made me fell down on danielson’s product which I believe to be a great products! Danielson’s management must do something about it, it might be someone was opening the package without there knowledge before delivering it to the customers, I believe in the integrity of danielson’s management but if this case will continue to happen it might affect there future business and relationships to there regular customers would consider myself!

Danielson Crab Net Kit
The Crab net arrived in the time the stated but was missing the Accessories. I emailed Amazon and sent a request for the missing Acessories and hopefully they will get that shipped to me. The net itself is not as heavy as some I have purchased in the past. But it will work for what I use it for. We drop it at the pier for local lobsters. Had planned on using it this weekend but now I have to purchase the line somewhere else to be able to use it.

It came as advertised
I read some reviews saying some didn’t get everything advertised but I figured for the price it still wasn’t a bad deal. Everything that was described came with it. Very happy.

Best quality!
This set has far better quality and construction than other flimsy nets. It could probably support a 100lb person if it were a swing.
