My kitty was getting a bit fat, so I needed to reduce her food intake. It is a tad difficult to figure out the settings to figure out the amount of food. It's easy enough to set the schedule, you just have to watch to see how much food drops down to figure out the portions you need. After some trial & error, I figured out she needed the least amount of food 3 times a day. This not only works to keep portion control, it works great for those who are not home. It's perfect for cat owners! We can go away for a weekend and not worry about feeding (or over feeding) our cats. I chose this one as it has a power cord with a back-up battery. I have terrible luck with batteries (they always seem to be dead or die just when I need them) so it's best for me to know I have a reliable power source. The batteries are for if the power goes out. I've had this for over 6 months with no issues at all. Also, the stainless steel dish removes easily for cleaning.

I LOVE this cat feeder! It is so easy to use and I can take it everywhere with me. It can hold a LOT of cat food so I usually only have to fill it up maybe once a month, sometimes less! This is really great at helping me remember to feed my cat!The only issue is that, (my cat is orange!!!) he tends to put his paw up inside of it to get the food out, and he’ll end up dislodging the turning piece and once that dislodges, no food drops. So just be aware of that if you have a cat that loves food. (It’s really easy to just re place it though!!)

I LOVE the convenience of this feeder. It works great. Easy to use and easy to clean. I like that I can adjust how much food and how often my cats are fed. It’s great for when I am traveling out of town or out late in the night. The downside is the clock tends to fall behind slowly. I have two feeders (one for each cat) and I have to reset the time on them about once a week to get them in sync again.

Reliable feeder that is easy to program and use. It has a back up battery and stainless steel removable and washable food dish.This feeder also records and plays a message when it disperses the food. The play back is so garbled that it sounds like you are speaking Chinese. It makes the dog bark and gets us all laughing. The cat is no longer afraid of it and eats just fine. You can turn the message off, but it gives us something to smile about for free. We consider it a bonus.I highly recommend this pet feeder.

I love this thing. It makes a noise before it dispenses, and my cats rush to it when they hear it. It's easy to set up, and control. The only slight downside is the time does get off track- mine is about ten minutes off the actual time, currently. It doesn't bother me, but it might bother some. I have had it for over a year, and have had no issues with it. I only have to fill it once almost every month (but I also have it on a higher setting, twice a day).

Bought this cat feeder a couple weeks before we left on a trip. A cute stray had appeared. We wanted the cat fed once a day at night while we were on a two week trip. Neighbor would feed in the morning. We tested variations in time and amount to be fed prior to departure. We set up security cameras to check on the feeding throughout our trip. We just returned from our trip and it worked perfectly! The cat remembers us!

This food feeder is amazing! I’ve had it for almost 2 years now, and it hasn’t given me any issues. The only thing I would say is that when there was a power outage, it completely stopped working. I thought that since it is battery operated that it would at least come in handy for that. Good thing I was home at the time.
