Easy to use
I've got a portable air conditioner and dehumidifier for my basement that's no where near a drain. So I used this to rig up in a bucket and tubing to a drain. It's not elegant but it works. It allows me to turn the dehumidifier on and forget about it. On humid days in the summer I could easily fill a 5 gallon bucket within 8 hours

Great Product
I needed a submersible switch for a sump pump that I was controlling manually. Was searching on Amazon and found just what I was looking for and at a very reasonable price. Easy to install and works great.

Not very sensitive
It works but it's not as sensitive as I would hope. You must mount this in a way that it's guaranteed to be completely up or down. If you need accurate water level detection, I would suggest a vertical sliding float switch.

It works as it should
Does what it should without fuss. I don't prefer the ball versions like this but for the price it can't be beat.

Poor design
Failed in under 60 days. Residential use. Angular design allowed materials in tank to catch the switch in a closed position, almost burning out my pump.

Cord was too short however product worked perfectly.
I did not like the fact the the cord was too short, I have a 650 gallon water tank and I had difficulty installing it then to plug it in an outlet. It was value for money as it did its job. I had to however bore a hole in the cover of the water tank to install then run an extension to get the electricity. Product seems to be performing well.

Works like it should
The test is if it works. Using in skimmer for pond. Going on two weeks and shutting off pump when prescreen clogs and water level drops.
