Set up to Apple Home was a breeze. I struggled to set it up in their app but customer service representative, Molly was very swift with support and rectified the issue for me. Product working well and I love that I can easily control it from my phone. Can easily add automation via Apple Home app so I can make the most of cheaper energy rates.

What a palaver! I followed the instructions and duly created a pointless account with eHomeLife. On opening the app I was prompted to select HomeKit and the plug was set up in the eHomeLife app which would transfer the settings to Home. This never happened. The approximately 45 minutes with the socket being unable to connect to Home or already connected to another Home. I put the plug back into the box intending to return them but decided to give another plug one more go. I tried another method and it worked first time. Follow these steps:1) Ignore the eHomeLife app2) Scan QR code on the side of the socket in the home app3) Click add to home4) Immediately plug socket in and stay within a meter of the socket5) Wait for less than a minute. That’s it.Tips: Reset plug by holding the button down until it flashes: Remove from eHomeLife app before resetting: Set up in the eHomeLife app after the socket is connected should you wish to monitor electricity use

Arrived quickly.I had hoped to add these 4 new smart plugs to my Smart Life App as I already have 7 smart plugs on that app, but the App won't recognise these Refoss plugs.However, using the Refoss App the plugs were quickly installed and also linked to Alexa.The Refoss App is basic in its layout.Whilst you can group your WiFi plugs under the 'Scenes' tab they are not colour codes for ease of recognition and finding the Timer programming settings is not clearly labelled.The easiest to set timers is by Alexa Voice control.Compared with my other Wi-Fi Apps the Refoss App is the only one that monitors electricity usage on each plug.Overall the plugs do what's required and are reliable and can be controlled remotely by installing and using the Refoss App on Smartphone or Tablet wherever there's a mobile signal.I recently replaced storage heaters with infrared heaters on a single electricity tariff. These Wi-Fi plugs give me total control over my heating. I can switch them 'on' an 'off' or set timers for each heater without physically going near the heaters, so no stairs to climb.Another great application of the wifi plug is that I can set a timer to switch on my slow-cooker and have my meal ready when I arrive home, as well as have rooms at a comfortable temperature on arrival.At time of submitting this review this pack of 4 x Refoss plugs is competitively priced, and value for money.Because you can control and monitor electricity usage of appliances connected to the Wi-Fi plug, these plugs are definitely a good investment which I heartily recommend!

The media could not be loaded. This WiFi plug is a solid buy. It’s well-built, easy to set up, and works seamlessly with Siri. No connection issues, no fuss—just plug it in, set it up using Apple home, and you’re good to go.Good size however does come away from wall so something to note. Range for WiFi seems unaffected.It does exactly what it promises, making smart home control super simple.

Awful, can’t change the timing settings, can’t even delete the plugs from the app and seem to connect and un connect when ever they like. Just had one final go at trying to get them reconnected but I’m just wasting more time with them.

I purchased these for a couple of hard to reach areas. They are not to bulky and fit quite well behind chest's of drawers and wardrobes. They also have the benefit of programming a routine to switch on and off at times of your choice which worked great for Christmas lights. They were very easy to set up to work with my Amazon Alexa and you can even see how much energy is being used through them and how much it is costing you once you set your energy providers unit rates in the app for the plugs.

The plugs worked well for standard products such as lights in the house. The product should support up to 2990 Watts given it is a 13A plug, but when it was plugged into a 2200W electric heater the plug severely melted (twice). Came back to the house to find Smoke and a melting plug lucky I caught it. Out to support now to understand why this happened *** follow-up note I have since spoken to Support who advised me that the product does not support 2000w, should be up to around 1200w. Details are on their website apparently. “ What devices can I control with the Meross Smart Plug?”. So make sure you check this before you buy all the product I imagine it’s the same with other smart plugs.
