Complicated to use
It’s incredibly difficult to operate and is harder to operate than it’s worth. Complete waste of money.

Great Scanner
I created a job tracking system at my work and this little barcode scanner allowed me to do it. It allows me to collect barcodes in the order that I scan them then transfer those barcodes quickly to a program I made. It turned an hour long process into a 5 minute process with no errors. I just wish it had a case.

Lots of features
This 1D laser barcode scanner is surprisingly capable, especially for the price. While this scanner can not read 2D barcodes, the laser gives you more precise scanning than a CCD scanner, especially when there are multiple barcodes in the same area. It is able to read a 1 inch barcode at one foot away and a 1.5 inch barcode at 15 inches. The keypad on this model also allows you to manually enter damaged barcodes, or add other information related to the scan such as quantities. The data collection functions take a bit to get used to in terms of how they work, but can meet the needs of basic inventory counting. As with most scanners of this type, you can read the scan directly into an application, or use the store and export feature for batch processing. Customizing the scan values that get exported is a bit odd compared to other scanners. So expect a learning curve to figuring out the software on this scanner. The charging and data cable has a mini-USB connector. On one hand, this is kind of out dated, but on the other, it is probably going to be more durable than a micro USB or USB-C connection. The included 2.4GHz USB adapter also worked flawlessly with no setup required. Overall, after understanding the limitations and capabilities of this scanner, I'm pretty happy with it.

Great Barcode Scanner
I like this barcode scanner! I use it for two functions: data entry and inventory. It is really easy to use just plug the USB into your computer and it shows the data from the barcode on my screen. The other use i use it for is production equipment inventory. I like that I can go scan my inventory of what I have then connect it to my computer and download all that information into Excel.
