Compact and Reliable Camera Gimbal with Great Performance!
Purchased Scorp 2 for a friend’s wedding to help him save money, and it turned out to be a great choice. The compact design makes it easy to carry, and it’s highly responsive with excellent build quality. Setting it up was simple, and I got used to it quickly since its functions are similar to my mobile gimbal. The package includes everything needed.I haven’t explored the AI features much yet, but it responded well to hand gestures for some selfies. The camera fits securely, and the battery life is impressive. Filming with one hand for extended periods can get tiring depending on the camera’s weight, but using both hands helps significantly. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase!

Great gimbal (so far) after a little adjustment with my Sony A6500!
I finally decided to get a gimbal, and was able to because it was in my price and weight load capacity fit my needs. I have a Sony A6500 with a Tamron 17-70 2.8 lens and wanted to get more into video work. When I first got the gimbal and started the setup and balancing, I was disappointed that with my lens and camera combo, that it would't balance because the weight of the lens was way too heavy and I was at the end of the plate for me to adjust. I was ready to return it, and have debated for days whether or not I would, but then I had an epiphany: I just needed to add weight to the camera to balance with the lens.At first, I tried looking at setups where I can add a counterweight, but then I thought - maybe getting a battery grip would help... AND IT DID!I purchased a battery grip for my A6500, and with the weight of the grip and added battery weight, it worked like a charm! I've only done some early testing, but I was able to to get all the axis balanced and did a video test, and was happy with the turnout so far without trying any of the features. I'm a beginner in video work using a gimbal, so I haven't really dove into it in-depth, but for my initial need of being able to use a gimbal for smooth footage, it did just that, and anything else from that point on (for me) would be an added bonus. I can't wait to get more familiar with the features and enhance my video work.

Malfunctioning and short battery life
It malfunctioned after months of light usage on a job. I had the gimbal standing on a table, turned on and suddenly it started jerking it's arms around by itself. I tried to turn it off. The motors turned off but the display stayed on and the gimbal became unresponsive. I could neither turn it back on nor fully off. I had to wait for a day until the battery died. After recharging, the gimbal started having other malfunctions. It often didn't follow when I turned it left or right. The tilt knob doesn't work anymore when tilting the gimbal at the same time, making it completely useless as those are many of my shots. The feiyutech app can't even control the speed or style of tilting anymore. I updated firmware even after that but it did nothing. When I read the feiyutech warranty service website, it stated I needed the warranty card and receipt. I haven't had problems with my scorp c gimbal, so I don't remember where the warranty card went, as I expected this gimbal to be of similar quality. And one would think since it's the updated version, the battery life would be as good or better. But even with the ai module turned off, the battery life is nowhere close to the scorp c. Just a couple of hours of use and I'm down to 30% battery. Based on my experience, I can not recommend this gimbal.

Not compatible with Nikon 6zii
I bought for the AI tracking feature. While one feature worked, the others did not work. The hand signal to start and stop tracker worked but the stop and start recording signal did not work. The app compatibility were limited with Nikon 6zii so that was a no go for me. Sometimes the gimbal glitches and it turns off in the middle of recording, this is critical! While the equipment was on the lower of cost compare to others offering similar feature, there are some cons you'll have to deal with.

Compact
The media could not be loaded. ★★★★★This gimbal is excellent for my Sony camera. It’s compact, easy to carry, and keeps footage very stable. It connects via Bluetooth, letting me control the camera easily. The AI tracking follows subjects accurately. The battery lasts well I film real estate, and it lasts a few days per charge. It’s sturdy and simple to set up. Great for anyone needing a reliable, compact gimbal. I recommend it!

The Scorp Series is a winner for me ... again!
I am a pro shooter, and I use a bunch of gimbals for different shots. I've been using an original SCORP for probably close to 5-years now, and a Scorp-C for a couple years. When this v2 upgrade came to the flagship SCORP gimbal, I knew it would be good ... but I didn't know how good! The big "wow" is, of course the AI tracker; this is only my second gimbal with an AI tracker, and already I can't imagine how I lived without it. Set it up and it literally becomes your SECOND shooter ... YES, I can make a one man shoot look like a good three operator shoot now thanks to the AI tracking. If you are a pro without an AI tracker, you NEED it!And not so obvious, but still a great upgrade is the abality to quickly switch from standard horizontal shooting to vertical in only a few seconds ... and the controls on the v2 scorp are more intuitive, and at the same time more functional. I don't have a camera that can use Bluetooth to connect to the gimbal controls, so I can't review that feature ... but wired it's as rock solid as I expect from this company :)And last, the scorp has never been light on power ... but this seams to have more powerful motors and better battery life than any of my current DSLR gimbals ... very cool. One tip: If you have not shot with a gimbal with this form-factor before, be SURE to spend some time with it before taking it to a paying shoot ... just like any new accessory!

Only had for a few days.
I've only had this for a few days now, but, I am very happy with this buy. I have been playing with it a lot and it has been great! I love the AI tracking feature. makes filming yourself so easy. easy to balance, and mount your camera. I really suggest giving it a try if you are in the market for a new gimbal.
