Window Privacy Film: I highly recommend this product!
This solar protection film for windows is a great product! It provides privacy during the day with a reflective mirror, in the evening use curtains because it no longer provides privacy. Protects the internal environment from excessive external heat.Arm yourself with patience, this is a job for the precise! The package comes complete with everything you need:- Film of the color you have chosen (I chose Silver)- Cutter- Spray container- Spatula to remove bubbles- Instructions- Stickers to remove the transparent film from the mirrored film.Tips:- Do this job when the sun is not shining against the window you want to work on.- Use a cutting board, draw the parts you want to cut and use a permanent marker to trace the perimeters you want to cut.- Be precise in the cuts.- Spray a lot of water on both surfaces: the window glass and the surface of the mirrored film, it will help you better position the cut piece. Don't worry if you mess up, you can easily remove it, add another splash of water and reposition.- Squeegee from the center outward to remove all bubbles.- Wipe with a clean, dry rag to remove any remaining bubbles if necessary.Enjoy!I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing it again for my remaining windows.

Great product, does exactly what I needed it to do
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for my entire house as the front and back have a tremendous amount of light and heat coming in, also for privacy. They cut down about 2°f-3°f as well as almost all the glare from walls and surfaces (I can actually watch TV without the glare lol). The house does a better job at staying cool as well, it looks like the sunsets and raise about 2 hours earlier/later is the best way I can describe it and it actually gets cold (which in May in Texas is huge) My significant other is actually able to sleep in now as well on her days off which is a big win as well. I’ll have to compare in a few months what the difference is in my bills. The privacy is also a huge bonus, my front door has a window and that allows people to see all the way to the back of the house and I’ve had solicitors put their face up to the glass numerous times to look in. This almost stop that completely as if they press they’re faces up and cup their face they can still see outlines inside (especially since I have a big window parallel to the door) but that doesn’t happen often at all. My parents liked it so much they had me install the film on their font door as well for the same reasons. You can’t see out at night very well but people can see in so just be aware of that blinds are life saversThe only thing I would say during install is use a lot of spray and for bigger pieces have help as it we’ll want to move on you. I’d also recommend getting a credit card a tint tool as it works better then the squeegee provided. Heat guns helps get the excess bubbles out and the help the ends that won’t stay down. Clean the window really well like extremely well, I had a window that unfortunately the previous owner got over spay on when painting and it’s viable on the tint, not what you want.all in all I spent maybe $450 on these films and had minimum issues, time will be the true test on how effective they are. From my research it takes roughly 3-4 years to see a ROI and most films last 6-7 years so we’ll find out then. Definitely a good DIY weekend project.

Technique Sensitive
Instead of spending $3-4000 for some one to come and tint my doors, I decided to do it myself. I’ve never tinted windows or doors in the past so I was a bit nervous since I’ve read many negative reviews on how this film is flimsy and wrinkles easily to end up with a horrible result. Well, I read the instructions and I watched videos, I ended up installing 6 doors and all of them turned out OK. Installation is very technique sensitive and I can see why many had trouble. Once I got the first two done, the remaining 4 were straight forward. LOVE how the end result looked and this product did what it was supposed to do and I saved thousands!

Be careful
Does this product work longterm? Maybe.... If you don't know exactly what you're doing will it be a complete disaster? Yes. Buy a very small amount and try it out before shelling out hundreds of dollars... Just a warning, good luck.

Really keeps the sun out.
Man it makes a big difference. The sun doesn’t beat in like it used to. Best part is we don’t have to close our blinds at night. Get baby shampoo that is the secret to putting it on.

Great for windows
Absolutely, love this.I didn't know this even existed. When we found out we had a stalker that was watching us from across the street, I put this on all our windows and now they can't see in. Highly recommend it.

Difficult.
I really wanted this to work out, but I’m not experienced enough with this type of window treatment. The adhesive is pretty much impossible to unstick from itself without damaging the film. Not recommended for beginners.

It works, installation is a two-person job
Very nice company and very nice communication from the company. Good packaging. I put these on large windows. I expected the installation to be difficult, and it is. The installation is pretty difficult, tedious, and requires at least two people. In the end, there are some wrinkles. It's noticeable but it's not too bad. For big windows it will difficult, but smaller windows it might be easier. The product works. Room is cooler and it provides more privacy than expected. Good value for the money.
