small text, but otherwise great
Excellent quality and condition... the book just has smaller text than I would have preferred, but it's still a very good option that includes the detailed, full version of the story. I would recommend larger text options for those with any issues with smaller text.

If you are looking for a novel that has suspense, betrayal, revenge, and love...... then this book fits the bill.
I admit, I only found out about this novel by watching the 2002 hit movie. But I was more excited to jump into the pages of the book and go from there.Edmond Dantes is a bit different from the movie, but he is still a lovable character. Even his fiancée, Mercedes, is hard to miss, all because of her beauty and love for Edmond.Even the evil characters of the story are amazingly written. The author does a well good-job crossing them off the revenge check-off list. I can tell that there was so much planning and so much hard work for this novel.I found it depressing that Edmond and Mercedes never got back together. I thought they made a wonderful couple. I have to say that the movie hits the A-plus on that one. But as for the rest of the adventure, the book takes that title. The book has an amazing end. A certain character named Haydée fills in the love interest spot for Edmond and the two ultimately fall in love. There is also a sense of relief and satisfaction by the end. Edmond completes his revenge and decides to move away, with Haydée, to another unknown location and start over. I could feel the peace that brings the reader to call it an amazing novel.Alexandre Dumas writes a masterpiece that will live on forever.

An unbridged version of a great classic translated by an unknown translator. However, the font size is very small.

Didn’t know what to expect
I didn’t know what to expect the price was so low and the photo reviews were few. The book is thick and as mentioned in other reviews the font is small compared to other books of similar size. It does have some scuffs on the back cover but overall it’s in great shape and a great price.

Prison break and revenge. Have I got you?
Ok, chances are you've seen the movie with Guy Pierce like I have. It's no secret that its gonna take a bit to read it as it's very deep but we'll worth it. Also, it's referenced in the Shawshank Redemption for you movie buffs. A great piece of literature.
