has been working well for over a year
It works with Hik-Connect in WIFI mode alongside my wired Hikvision cameras. Only issue is that sometimes it doesn't connect because it says too many users are already connected. Motion detection feature works well, Camera microphone OK-good. Camera speaker sound distorted (I have only tried this in WIFI mode).Despite flaws it is to me well worth getting for a compact indoor camera that is viewable in Hik-connect, so I can see all my cameras from the same app.

Great for Dog Monitoring
I didn't need a power supply for this since I have POE (Power Over Ethernet) switches in my home.I don't like having cameras in the home, but since we have a new puppy, this is so nice to keep an eye on what he's doing either away from home, or with my Hikvision NVR (Network Video Recorder). I added an SD card even though my NVR can record the footage. If I was a new parent, this would be a great baby cam too.The camera is sharp in both lit and with the built in Infra Red light. But without IR, the picture will be grainy as pictured. It's good enough that I would buy this again if I had a choice.Pros:Small footprintSharpClearWas set up within 5 minutesPOEWiFi (although I don't use it)Intrution / line crossing detectionCons:Included mount is crappy (I ended up with a magnetic camera mount) - It uses the standard tripod threadsPricey for what it isLive view doesn't work on Safari on Mac, use ChromeCan't seem to get the audio / mic to work even when I set the stream to have Video&AudioHikVision Web interface is lackluster

Doesn't come with everything you need! Warning!
DOES NOT COME WITH A POWER SUPPLY!!! This is actually a big disappointment. They sell a camera with no way to power it. Do not buy this unless you are an experienced technician! Trust me. I've been doing camera installations for 35 years and I have yet to get this camera to work properly. It's terrible. Buy a Ring camera. They are more pricey but they are very easy to setup and come with everything you need. These do not!!!

Hard to get mic to work
Using HikConnect app on iPhone, camera plugged into HikVision NVR. Video but no sound. On HikConnect app I *could* enable temporary 2-way audio, but I want constant microphone pickup. No option in the NVR's UI. On my desktop computer there IS an option in the web browser UI: "Configuration" tab on top, then "Video/Audio" on left side, selected Video tab, then selected my camera, then in Video Type changed from "Video Stream" to "Video & Audio". Did same for both Stream Type options "Main Stream(Normal)" and Sub-stream". If you ask me it should come already configured for Video & Audio, also the NVR UI should have as many options as its web UI.

Works Great with Synology Surveillance Station
We wanted a camera for one room in the house & this turned out to be a great choice. The stand is stable enough that you don't even really have to mount it if you aren't worried about someone knocking it over. Other reviewers are correct, this does not come with a power adapter but the POE works great so kind of nice to not have yet another adapter brick floating around or filling up the landfills. The two way audio was a little tricky to figure out. By default it is set to Video+Audio on the primary stream but turned off for the substream. Once I turned it 'on' for the substream it worked fine in the DS Cam app. (In the camera's web configuration -> Video -> Video/Audio Tab, set Stream type to Substream and then set Video Type to 'video&audio').Once that setting is in place you have to go into the timeline in the DS Cam app, swipe right on the tool bar & tap the Microphone icon and it worked great. I do get some echo on the audio but it's not a big deal.A lot of power here for the money, I'd buy another if the need arises.

Probably the best cube style camera you can get
I bought this to replace my Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW 3MP camera. It is a very nice upgrade and fixed some problems with that other camera. This new camera has a better lux rating to see objects in the dark. Also the WDR is notably improved. One very nice improvement over the previous model I had is that this one no longer requires a proprietary browser plugin. I am able to configure it perfectly within Linux without any issues. Also it seems like the wifi is working a bit better with this model too.Cube style cameras seem to be on the way out and from what I gather Hikvision isn't making any more cube cameras. So this one here is probably the last of them and the best cube style camera one can get!

Nice camera, but a little pricey.
Definitely a great picture and high frame rate. Very slim form factor. I'm pointing it out a window, so I'm not suing the PIR or IR. A little pricey, would buy more if they came down in price.
