FS-i6X 10CH 2.4GHz RC Transmitter Controller w/FS-iA10B Receiver Upgrade Cable for RC Helicopter Plane Quadcopter Glider (Mode_2)

The media could not be loaded. It’s gonna be a while before I can use all the functions on this radio. Built a 4 foot tugboat with big plans. It obviously goes forward and backwards and write in the left, when I’m done with it, it will have full lighting, navigation and floodlights. it will also have a smoke generator, sound module, working 10 pound winch on the back of it, working fold over recovery forks on the front of it for lifting boats out of the water. So as a 10 channel radio, I should be able to control all the different functions of the boat right here. Price point is fantastic, so far have zero issues with the radio. I would definitely recommend this.

This is a great RC radio and receiver. Not sure why most will spend 5 times more money on a more complex radio. This one does the job perfectly fine. The model I bought FS-i6x came with a 10 channel receiver. I usually only need 6 but this allows adding extra features for later on if needed. Receivers are inexpensive and easy to find and bind to radio. Right now I have 6 receivers for all the planes I have. Very simple interface to switch planes. The only thing I can complain about is the physical size. I would like to see a slightly larger shell. But this is a very minor point that does not alter my rating.

Im not sure the distance on this thing, but i was flying alot further than i thought. Just make sure you set up your failsafes. Good quality, good receiver. I use the 10 channel, they also have a 6 channel. If you are building on a budget, this transmitter is a must!

It value the money. However the plastic looks and feel very cheap (it is). Excellent for DIY'ers. If you want a more professional experience maybe it is not the controller you are looking for. Something that I disliked is the PS/2 connector to be in the back of the unit, making it fragile when laying back on a table. Also, sometimes the connected falls out in a middle of a simulator session.

If you don`t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a transmitter and receiver for your RC hobbies, this is the one to get. You can get extra 6 channel or 10 channel receivers for it cheap so that you can use this transmitter for all your helicopters and airplanes. However, it will not bind to spektrum receivers. Overall, its a great deal!

Not sure why there were many negative reviews about this item. But it worked like a charm for me.Receiver has 10 channels. After connecting battery, the receiver paired with the transmitter. Make sure your battery is atleast 7V. I initially tried with 3.7v lipo, which did not work, at which point, thought the item was faulty. But later switched with 7.4v lipo, and it worked like a charm.Instructions are not very clear on which channel the transmitter controls map to, but not very difficult to figure it out. Throttle stick is great, accelerates and decelerates nicely. Aileron, Rudder controls work nice too.I would give 5 stars for now. I am still making my plane. I will come back and update my review after flying it.

I did not expect this product to feel as solid as it does, so it surpassed my expectations.Features are bountiful for an entry level radio and even an advanced user may opt for this radio to save money.I plan to use it in my two motors four wheel crawlers to control each axle and motor independently. Will update this review as I dive into using this transmitter.

TLDR at the bottom of review.I would not advise this product for beginners unless you are willing to study other products or find multiple guides and learn each of the 1,000 functions for RC Transmitters.The instructions are poorly translated and there are very few YouTube video guides on this specific model.I had to watch several video guides and take notes on other models, then translate them to this one, only to realize some of the functions are backwards (as in On/Off, or right to left instead of left to right).I had to experiment for hours before every flying my aircraft to make sure everything was correctly programmed, even resetting the programming and starting from scratch a few times because it was frustrating.This situation might be common for beginners, regardless of the transmitter model, but feel I should still relay my experience to you.If the manufacturer made a *significantly* better instruction manual I would be much more pleased with this product.TLDR: This remote works well, but is hard to figure out.
