Q: Does anyone know how these compare with the Gabby Home barstools?

There is a HUGE difference. I ordered Both to see for myself. The Gabby Acrylic is so much thicker and better quality. The Meridian flexes and much thinner - when my husband sat in it the back flexes ---to the point where you are nervous it is going to crack! The Gabby - is more of a brushed softer gold - copper.....not as shiny and brassy as the Meridian. The cost is defenitly worth it.

There is a HUGE difference in quality. The Meridien acrylic is very thin and flexes big time when men sit down especially. The gold is a shiny in your eyes brass where as the Gabby is brushed and more muted copper looking. The Gabby is very nice HEAVY acrylic - very sturdy. I would highly suggest the Gabby. You pay more but for quality all around.
