Great camera I really love the quality

So far, so good. However, the bracket that attaches the camera to the mounting bracket seems a bit loose. Someone could easily knock it down. Additionally, the mounting bracket itself requires a very flat mounting surface, otherwise, you may encounter difficulties during installation.Personally, I wish the cat wire was a input socket built into the back of the camera instead of there being bulky wires. I mount directly to the siding and conceal all wiring within the wall, and the thick cables require larger holes.If you purchase this camera, I recommend applying a small amount of silicone to the side of the mounting bracket and mounting plate to improve its security and prevent accidental slippage.Aside from these minor issues, the camera's quality is excellent. I've installed one for my driveway and another for my garage. I prefer the turret style cameras for their aesthetic appeal in residential settings. This is a great product, and I would recommend it.

Setup: Super easy! Love that no account is required for a 3rd party server. Software finds it automatically and made it easy.Camera Angle: Worse part of the camera. Wish it was wider but its decent. Im coming from Amcrest so was used to the super wide angles. I will need 2 of these cameras to cover the same view as the Amcrest cameras.Quality: Great! Feels sturdy as well and the view quality is crisp and very clear.AI Alerts: Spot on! Dog got out 30 minutes after I installed and I didnt know it. Camera alerted me an animal was spotted. Sure enough my dog was running with their freedom lol.Smart Home Integration: Works however did have to setup a account on reolink for this feature.Overall: Giving a 4/5 of 5 due to the low camera angle. I do however plan to use Reolink moving forward.

Surprising how many motion detections the old camera missed compared to this. Had the camera independent for a while while I waited for my Reolink Home Pro nvr to show up and had a bunch of functions old camera didnt offer. After getting NVR it added a few more functions to the camera that i didn't get when independent. Don't need a nvr to make this work either I found out after getting it, just need an SD card in the unit.

Unfortunately, this camera does not make the cut when installed as a porch camera pointed *inwards* from the outside (and mounted on the ceiling). The viewing angle needs to be wider to capture a good picture, and the camera is zoomed in quite heavily on the vertical side. Because of that, you have to compromise with what you have:1. Point the camera downwards, and capture the ground so you can look for delivered packages, but miss the faces of people coming and going since it's mainly staring at the ground.or2. Point the camera higher up and capture partially the door and some faces, but miss the ground completely so you have no idea if packages are still there.or3. Rotate the camera sideways so the camera captures more of the vertical space in exchange for a much narrower horizontal view. This allows much more of the desired areas to be recorded, albeit sideways.While option 3 seems like a good compromise, neither the app nor the website allows you to flip the image so any recording you make will be permanently sideways. You will be tilting your head to view recordings made in this way. The app might be easier since you can physically rotate your phone, but it still is pretty annoying. The sideways recording also seems to affect the ability of its AI to detect people, therefore causing some interesting events to be missed.Furthermore, it doesn't seem like the company has any plans to fix this problem (now or in the future), instead opting to give me a discount on a new camera if I wanted to buy something new from them. This is quite frustrating given that this is still a relatively new camera and it is still being actively sold.This camera may be acceptable if you are just looking to point it out on the street to get general details, but you probably will be disappointed if you are using it for specific use cases like confirming package deliveries.

works well with BI. Supports sub streams, 4k, easy to set up. Had to call support, after a few emails they got me working. Out of 4 cams, only had to call support for 1. I would buy again.
