Exactly what is needed for RO filter line to 1/4 compression fitting on ice maker port.
This is the perfect item to get 3/8 RO filter line to 1/4 inch compression fitting on icemaker. Glad to finally find this after 3 failed attempts at the home improvement store. I did have to cut the compression fitting shoulders down 1/4 because the fitting on the ice maker side is too short to reach the compression seal.

Just what I needed.
I'm glad I found this. This adapter made hooking up my RO water filter to my refrigerator so easy. When I was screwing it onto the refrigerator's water connector it seemed like it was a little lose but it worked and didn't leak. I was careful not to over tighten it. The blue clip in the picture did not come with it I got that in another kit. Works good and I'm happy with it.

Didn’t work on my LG Fridge
I saw other people had mentioned that this worked on their LG fridge. On my French Door LG Fridge with the dual ice makers in the freezer and door, it didn’t work. The threaded part of this adapter was too long, so the o-ring didn’t engage with the compression type fitting on the fridge. Because of this, when I turned on the water, it blew by the o-ring and leaked everywhere. I may try and cut down the threaded end on the adapter to see if that works, but something tells me I’m just going to end up destroying it.

1/4 Compression Side Picture
For those who are curious, here is what the other side of this fitting looks like. I purchased this coupler to connect the 3/8 inch water line from my under sink reverse osmosis system to the 1/4 inch compression fitting on my new refrigerator. Although the internal water lines in the refrigerator are 1/4 inch, this fitting eliminates the need to step down the water line from the RO system to 1/4 inch tubing.

Very well described so you know what your getting matches what you are looking for
Got it in a day. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I installed it in seconds with no leaks or problems to restore my ro tap connection. All locsl big box stores did not have it.

Too much pressure??
Finally found the part I needed, installed and it fit great to the 1/4 threads but upon installing the hose to the compression end and turning the water on it leaked like an open dam. Too much pressure apparently for this part. Removed and attempted again, same issue. If the company reads this, or any consumer and has some input how to get a tighter fit I'm all ears, otherwise this didn't do the trick for me. Shipping/packaging/timing were all great, just performance issue for my need.

Good luck finding the male version of this product...
This was supposed to convert/adapt an icemaker supply line to a Culligan under sink water filter. Then back again to attach to the icemaker line to the tap-tap LG fridge... Without the other "push to male fitting" I can't complete the project. With all the achievements in this world, yet there isn't a push fitting to finish this project? Unreal...
