My cat has short thick fur which makes using a flea comb a bit difficult as it just doesn't always pick up fleas. We bathed him with baby shampoo as that's all we had and didn't do anything. Bought this as a last line of defence as not yet got a vets, ( still waiting to be registered). This shampoo is a god send, it smells great, his fur is even more fluffy and soft than before. It lathers up beautifully and rinses out so easily, no stubborn soap residue is left behind and doesnt leave fur feeling sticky either which is great! It killed fleas almost in an instant with them rising to the surface of his fur making it easier to see them and pick them out. After his bath and he was dry he had a few remaining fleas hanging on for dear life that didn't come off in the bath. But as they were on the surface it was a quick pick off and they was gone. Gave a thorough search through his fur the morning after and safe to say I couldn't find any fleas at all. They was gone. I'm usually hesitant about flea treatments as a lot can be toxic or harmful to our fur babies. But I couldn't recommend this enough. It has natural oils to soothe irritated skin, oils to soften fur and keep it healthy but most important of all it gets rid of all fleas, eggs etc.As a first time user I'll definitely buy this again, as a back up treatment just incase. My cat seems happier and no reaction has occurred. Highly highly recommended. Brilliant stuff.

My new kitten came with a few unwelcomed guests, and because he was too little for a flea treatment from the vet I bought this shampoo. I've put him in the sink where I mixed water with this shampoo and then gave him another good wash just with the shampoo while using the flea comb. All fleas looked dead, including the ones on the comb, sink, and towel. I think it works if you apply it at least twice and also use a comb to clean the coat properly. Overall happy with the product as it is safe for a kitten, killed the fleas and he also smells nice, fluffy and feels happier now. Will see in a week if they come back. For whoever looks a more permanent treatment I would recomend Seresto collar, but if you are looking for something fast this will work if you want it to work! Would not believe people who complain that it doesn't work as fleas usually die just from soapy water if they stay in it long enough, you just need to use it properly, and if you have an infestation go to the vet !!!

My cats are outdoor cats and unfortunately got a bad case which we are all suffering from. Expensive flea treatments have not worked and with the recent hot weather they have been scratching like mad. I hoover regularly to try to control the problem but have been scared to even let the cats back in the house. Bought this shampoo after reading reviews and gave it a try. The boy cat put up a fight but eventually gave in to me massaging him with the treatment in a warm bath. The girl cat was easier although having longer hair I had to really work the shampoo in. The pump action dispenser makes application straight forward and I wore heavy duty gloves for protection. I also put on a harness to help keep hold of them and maneuver to get to the tummy and other areas. Several fleas and lots of flea dirt came out into the water...I let it sit for 5 minutes or so before hosing off. Their coats dried quickly leaving them lovely and soft and when using the comb over the next few days found nothing!I will repeat the process weekly while continuing to hoover daily until I am satisfied it has worked properly. So far so good

If you see reviews saying it doesn’t work, the person did not use it correctly. I did a test where I took some live fleas (picked with a comb and stuck to a sheet of lint roller paper) and dropped some of the shampoo mixed in water. The fleas died in 15 seconds of contact.If your cat has thick fur, water doesn’t penetrate all the way and therefore the shampoo cannot reach the skin where the fleas are so of course it won’t work as good. Secondly you will use the shampoo on the body but fleas mostly hide in the face neck and chin, with some being under the belly. You must use water on the face, get it as wet as possible (your cat definitely wont like it) and you should see baby fleas on the surface pick them out and discard them. I must admit I made a very very weak solution of the shampoo and water and used it around the face so that the shampoo helps the water wet the fur instead of staying on top because the fur is oily.When I use the shampoo I see a couple dead fleas in the coat. Hard to remove but they are dead, of course its harder to see on the black fur areas but in white you’ll definitely see them.You must also use flea treatment for your home, vacuum daily at least in the areas the cat stays in the most and use a spray. I will probably buy the spray from this brand too and try it out.

Unfortunately it had zero effect on my cats but this does not mean it wouldn’t work for others.There was no effects of their skin or obvious odours.

I don't often leave reviews, but this product i simply had to.Despite regularly using flea treatment chemicals on my Cocker Spaniel, he quickly became over-run by them.A day after using chemical flea treatment, fleas were still rife, but was unable to reapply for another 4 weeks.Came across this product, i thought the price was a bit steep but the reviews allowed me to look past the price.The first application, i could see the fleas being washed away from his coat. However, as the instructions state, " do not use around genital area" this was then the only area i found fleas.Applied again the following day, around his 'area', being careful not to cause any issues and again was able to see the fleas being washed away.10 minutes with the flea comb and not a single flea, egg or anything for that matter.This will now become my go-to regular shampoo for my dog, it's absolutely worth every penny.Great job Animigo.
