Have been using for five years. Allows our storefront door to stay locked to the public, but our clients who have the code can come right in. And then at night when we are closed we can turn that code off, so no one can get in. We haven't used our actual key for 5 years. A few times one of my employees called me to tell it wasn't working right, and it has always been user error. I've only replaced the battery once, and that was just preventative. It has never not worked exactly right, in rain, snow, -20 degrees, etc. I see some shops have like a real-estate lockbox outside for their employees or contractors to open and get a key to come in. What a pain. This is so so worth it.

I replaced an existing Trilogy with this purchase. The installation was easy and fast but there were 2 issues: 1) The actual product box was totally beat up and the 2 1/2" battery door screw was bent 30 degrees! 2) The door handle is much looser than the original one.

This is the third one I've bought. I use them for my store front door to allow mailbox customers to access their box 24/7. It's a complicated install for a novice and for first time installation, but replacements are pretty straightforward. There is a metal bar on the back that is the heart of how this works and it's a little flimsy over time. That piece breaking us why I've replaced all of them. Ease of use after install is why I rate it so high. It lasts about 5 years. Guess that makes it worth the price.

Trilogy lock are wonderful. They are easy to program if you just read the directions. They have lots of ways the lock can handle codes. Battery lasts forever too.

Works great for any backset. The Lockey narrow still locks would not work on 1 1/2 inch backseat, but this one did. Do not unscrew the battery screw all the way during installation. It will save you a big headache and a lot of time.

This product came to me from Amazon without a key. A key is required for installation. So, now and additional unknown fee to a locksmith is required to simply install This product
