If you have, or can find to buy, the MSA Classic Comfo 1/2 mask, this is the cartridge you want to deal with COVID 19. (these are not combination cartridges—they filter out mists and particles only). These P100 cartridges filter out 99.97% of all mists/particles, etc. A N95 mask filters out 95 % of all particles. So, these are the best you can do to protect yourself in public—nothing better except a full face mask using these same cartridges. I’m, 76 years old and wear this every time I am mingling with the public. Stay safe. Note, you can find these from other vendors. Just be sure to order # MSA 815177.

The ones I received were clearly old stock, shipped in open box and the metal was oxidizing. I did not bother to check whether or not they were usable.

Almost no air restriction.Also you was exhausting the bacteria that stays on you cloth or paper ones.MSA calls it "Clean Air Breathing"This will keep you safe with the proper safe guards.The "P" is for Petroleum resistant. The "N" is not.95>100 Finer particle stoppage.Speculation: I think these do not have use by date because they do not have activated charcoal filtering.

Does not take away the chemical smell.
