Enjoy this so much! Lightweight fits on back of Kayak and goes over rocky terrain.

It's Blue!
Let me just say that in the world of budget kayaking, being obsessed with the color blue is a shockingly-limiting priority. This cart is great! I'd been watching it here for 2 years before I finally bought it. I even waffled back and forth between blue airless wheels and the fatty balloon tires, but I never go anywhere excessively sandy so I inevitably decided those were overkill. Airless blue worked great on pavement, dodgy bumpy sidewalks, multiple crosswalks, and multiple laps around the back acre to get a feel for the thing. I'm 6'4" and I situated the cart directly beneath the seat so I never experienced any issues with the kickstand catching on stuff as mentioned in other reviews. And on the subject of other reviews: I received mine fully (mostly - just wheels off) assembled, and no parts were missing. I don't really understand why the whole setup (wheels and all) had an odd greasy texture all about them that made me wash my hands multiple times, but for all I know that's a feature not a bug.The common complaint: the straps. They're simple lashing straps and do loosen too easily. That's not *really* the fault of the manufacturer other than them choosing a more-affordable strapping system to keep costs down. I used the value of the sale price discount to buy a 4-pack of Rhino ratchet straps that will replace the lashing straps and I'm GTG. FWIW the lashing straps did get me home (almost a mile) from a local boat launch and only stopped 3, maybe 4 times to tighten them back up so if you're going a relatively short distance the lashing straps might be good enough for you. This cart works very smoothly with a 10' SOT Pelican Sentinel and a 12' sit-in Pelican Ultimate (both beginner multi-chine hulls) as well as a 10' Pelican Sprint (deep-v hull.) My neighbor tried it under a couple of his Sun Dolphin kayaks and liked it so much he ordered his immediately. It's going to be a fun season this year! 😆

Sturdy
Newcod Kayak Cart, Kayak Dolly Cart for Carrying Kayak Canoe SUP Paddle BoardArrived today and I have to say so far I'm pleased. The frame is well built and sturdy, more than I expected.I put it together which amounted to putting on the wheels. One reviewer said that the keeper pins were cheap and one fell off and was lost. I found them to be sufficient and don't anticipate a problem with loosing them. The straps are very long, much more than necessary to secure a kayak. They seem more than adequate to the job of keeping a kayak in place. The ratchets, though probably equal to the job of holding the straps without slippage, are rather cheap which I found strange given the quality of the rest of the dolly. For this reason (and the hard plastic wheels which I don't like on anything) I gave it 4 stars. I may replace the ratchets.Someone also said that the dolly kept folding up while they were trying to put the kayak on it which I don't understand as the part of the frame that acts as the feet has to be positioned (unfolded), is stiff and snaps into place keeping the dolly very stable.Overall I think it was a good purchase that should last for a long time.Haven't actually tried to load it up since the kayak I use is elsewhere but if it doesn't do the job or there are any problems I will amend this review.

Works great!!
This has been a great investment! Not that dragging my yak up and down hills wasn't good exercise, but time for a change. I have gone up and down grassy areas, old asphalt roads leading to the lake, and the concrete boat ramp. No issues. My biggest issue is lifting my boat onto the cart. I quickly learned, put it on empty and then load up. Practice makes perfect. My yak is a 10 ft Lifetime Teton, so my best location is under my seat. That keeps a good balance. Thus far I have just secured the cart on my yak. No issues. It takes up a bit of room though. Also, the straps have been fine. No issues. I have been happy with this cart so far.

No more dragging or straining back
Super easy to assemble. Love the cinch straps that make tightening and loosening super-fast. I put the kayak on the cart and pull it to my truck. I then take of the straps, tilt the front end of kayak up roll it towards the truck bed and slid it in! What a back saver!!

Very easy set up
The media could not be loaded. Literally took me two minutes to set it up after taking it out of the box! I haven’t used it yet with my boat but it looks sturdy and I chose the green solid wheels so as to avoid any issues with indents that others seemed to experience with the “blue” wheels and similar carts. I will update once I’ve had a chance to use it.

Worked well, good product and design
I gave it a shot for my hobie and was happy with the results. was able to quickly set it up and use the straps that are fixed to it. I like this and would recommend it to anyone using kayak to launch from the beach!

Straps don't hold well
Great wheels, great support but I haul a pretty big canoe and the straps don't lock very well which makes the dolly rotate under the boat when you take a turn and you have to stop , readjust and proceed...
