Good product
Best thing iv ever invested in. Light weight to begin with but it does weigh you down when cutting for longer periods. However my upper body strength isn't the greatest! Every year I have to tackle the most longest hedges known to man due to poor upkeep on the other side! The ladders are getting a little scary for me so bought this bad boy! They glide through thin hedge branches but do struggle with thick so keep a electric or petrol trimmer to hand for those. It has cut down the workload massively. Came well packaged. Instructions are vague but its not rocket science to put together. All in all i can't moan. Beats getting stabbed by hedges when leaning on the ladders!

Nice machine - but quite heavy to use
So far very pleased with the trimmer - it gets a lot done in a very short space of time. But beware : if you're an oldie like me you'll find it pretty heavy to use, so you can't work with it for long periods. The shoulder-strap it comes with helps, though.

Makes cutting easier, pole does tend to collapse
On the whole this works well but the telescopic pole does hold very well when extended. I suspect the weight of the trimmer is too much for it and it slowly slides back to the unextended position, which is a nuisance. A little heavy yo balance, my wife struggles with it and I could see if you had a large hedge to trim it might become difficult. I don't so it is used for smallish jobs and is therefore fine.

Excellent value, versatile and easy to use
Can't fault this, decently well made for a decent price.Certainly usability could be improved with a slightly changed grip and the option of a harness rather than just a strap would be welcome. But, for the price, these would be asking a lot.The trimmer blades are sharp and a pleasure to use, battery life is not spectacular but more than enough for most people as you will get tired wielding something this long on a tall hedge well before the battery runs out.Got mine with the optional "WORX WA0307 Pole Saw Head Attachment for WG252E" chain saw. Scary to use if you've not used a chain saw before, double scary on the end of a long pole! But it works and has been useful for cutting back thicker branches than a trimmer would do.If you need something like this, for the price, you can't go wrong with these.

Does the job well
I started with a Works Landroid robot mower - which I love. Then of course the battery sharing system makes you think about what else they make. Every tool I have bought from them is excellent. Their designs are simple and very well balanced in the hand. The packaging is only cardboard - no polystyrene crap. This tool made it very easy for my son to deal with a monster out of control high hedge at the back of his new flat.

Hedger put to the ultimate test.
This Hedger arrived well packaged and with clear instructions, use this in conjunction with an electric hedger as it's not designed for thicker branches. The pole extension works well, the unit is slightly unbalanced when at full height. The battery lasted a good hour before needing charging so for a 2.0a.h battery I was impressed, all in all this hedger is good value for money, comfortable grip handle.Just needed to be abit more powerful.

Not too heavy and easy to manoeuvre/adjust
Let me firstly make two points. First with this item you receive one battery and more importantly one 'fast' charger which takes an hour. Secondly, I strongly advise that on the first charge you leave the battery connected for at least three hours. This gives it a much better power holding ability.Okay, now to using it. Assembly is child's play. Two sections that simply connect together using plastic lock levers and you're done. Another lock allows the pole to extend and another allows the handle to revolve. Shoulder strap is also provided. The advantage of cordless is immediately apparent for me with no electric cable tangled up in my flower beds and destroying plants as I move along the hedge. It's not as heavy either and I found the head angle adjustment simple to operate. I managed to cut the rear garden hedge in just over twenty minutes. It's mostly gorse and hawthorn as it borders the field to my next door farmer. It cut through the branches with ease and it's comfortable to manoeuvre. Not too much strain on the arms means you can cut in longer bursts and soon get the job done.I was pleasantly surprised to see I had only used one bar of power when I'd finished with two more still available. On that basis I reckon I should get at least 40 minutes out of one. Hence my recommendation earlier about ignoring the green 'charged' light first time and leaving the battery plugged in for at least three hours. All in all an extremely reasonable priced item with all necessary accessories. Easy and relatively light to use. I bought an extra battery too so that when I come to do larger areas I can have a back up ready to go when needed.I can thoroughly recommend this cutter to anyone looking for a solution to their household hedge trimming problems. 5 stars without hesitation, I'm well pleased.

Very heavy to use
Heavy , only used once ,because of this it is now stored permanently in my garage. Perhaps it would be ok for a stronger person to use .
