Relatively easy to follow instructions. Me and my 5 yr old enjoyed making this together! He did need help but only due to his age. Would be ok for 8+ with minimal support

The media could not be loaded. Don’t know about kids, but I loved this (I’m a 56 year-old man!); I treated myself to this as a wee Christmas gift. It’s really well made, the instructions are clear and easy to follow with true to life illustrations of each component. I thoroughly enjoyed the mindful couple of hours spent bolting it together. The dog’s not too impressed, though! Highly recommended.

Bought this for my ten year old for Christmas. He has enjoyed making it. Some of the bits are a little tricky but it is a reasonable toy to encourage some resilience and problem solving skills.

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter as she loves to build things and enjoys anything scientific/mechanical. Initially it looked very good value for money but first kit arrived and had faulty parts that had not been manufactured correctly preventing her from completing the build. Once i had new parts and it had been assembled the motor is not powerful enough to fully operate and walk continuously. A very disappointing product!!! My advice would be to look for a better quality product even if you have to pay a bit extra.
