Perfect fit reaplcment drag link for my Wrangler
I recently purchased a 2004 Wrangler Unlimited, and with plans to lift and bigger tires, I figured making sure the steering was in good shape was important. My existing steering had 3 tie rod boots leaking, as well as one that looked like it was about to explode it was so ballooned out the side. I didn't want to chance anything, so I went ahead and got the following to do the upgraded/refreshed steering:Parts needed for complete drag link/tie rod end replacement:Drag Link DS1430Tie Rod End - ES3096LAdjusting Sleeve - ES2079SI wanted to refresh everything, as well as do the TJ / XJ tie rod upgrade, so I got these as well:Tie Rod End - ES3096LAdjusting Sleeve - ES2079STie Rod - DS1312Since I was replacing all of the parts, I removed the old stuff as one assembly, and after setting my new parts to the same length, chucked it in the metal bin at the dump. The new tie rod is much beefier than the original, as it's a solid piece as well as being thicker. Installed just like the originals, and then I did a quick measuring tape alignment to get it good enough to get to the shop for a real alignment. Steering is nice and tight now, and I know the extra beef will serve my larger tires even better.

Perfect fit for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ
A fantastic upgrade for your Jeep Wrangler TJ. This tie rod end is solid, unlike the factory version for the Wrangler. No harder to install than any other tie rod, and has fittings to be greased. A good tie rod for the money.

Great replacement.
Used to replace old worn tie rod on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. It comes bare steel. By some chasis paint or spray on bed liner to protect it. Identical to OE. Went on with no issues. I measured my old one prior to replacement so the steering wheel was not to far off. Makes for quicker adjustment after installing.
