Great microphone
Saw reviews and was a little sceptical. Have to say it works right out of the box. Using it to dub audio over video is excellent no hiss. Ideal plug and play for casting and zoom. Connections supplied to USB c Samsumg and iPhone phones. Samsung sound recorder via a71 is amazing. No hissing, clean. Used Movavi Studio. Great for overdubbing. No pre noise cancel stuff here. Genuinely happy for the price. Solid base. Has Great echo nob. Headphones attach direct and feed brilliant. You will need to keep your hands well away from the Mike and it picks up from the table. Small mouse movements OK. This is cool plug and play. Make sure you choose USB input. I thought it was on but the pc was recording on board microphone. My error. Don't make same mistake. Had this 1 day and totally happy.

Not bad, but not for me
I'm returning this but I'm leaving a review to answer some of the questions I had about it and to add a bit more information. It's not terrible, it's just not for me.The headphone socket works as an audio output from your device. It's not just for monitoring your input level. This was the feature I really wanted, for using on an iPad without needing wireless headphones. The only other mic I've seen with this is the G-Track Pro, costing >£100.The "volume" control on the microphone is input gain, not headphone volume. Setting it higher than about 30% is way too sensitive and noisy; setting it lower than about 20% cuts off completely. It has almost no usable range. Fine for up close talking, not good for recording from more than a few inches away.I used it on an iPad with Lightning and one with USB-C. It worked the same on both - just took over sound input and output. Very pleased it comes with these converters (usually you'd need a hub or camera adapter) but the Lightning converter did not sit well in the socket making it easy to nudge loose and disconnect. With USB-C it sits firmer though. While it works as expected with an iPad, an iPhone does not provide enough power to turn on the mic at all.The noise cancellation feature is a noise gate, not a hiss filter. It cuts out low levels of noise by muting them. This means that when you start to speak, there is an obvious ramp up as the volume increases and the background noise reappears behind your talking.I wanted to be able to recommend this to non-technical members of my music group for recording on an iPad, but it's just not good enough for music - kind of tinny and harsh. Probably OK for a first podcast mic, and decent value at the price. Does not come close to my G-Track (or even other cheap USB mics with fewer features) for sound quality though.

Great product at good price
I needed a stand microphone to release me from using a headset all the time during home working. I looked at all the products available and there are some nice microphones manufactured by well known companies but they tend to be more expensive (£100 +). I didn't want to spend that much, so I bought this microphone. Unfortunately the first one had to be returned because of an intermittent connection but the second arrived and it has worked fine ever since. My colleagues say they can hear me loud and clear during virtual meetings. One thing to note is that it does work with iphones/ipads but not with the app 'Whatsapp'. This is because 'Whatsapp' will only use the internal microphone of the device and not an external microphone. I can't easily compare with other products but it appears to do the job and it was a reasonable price.

Doesn't Work with an iPhone
I bought this microphone to use with Discord through my iPhone X. The description says it works with iPhone & iPad and even includes a USB-A to lightning adapter. In reality the microphone turns on when you initially plug it in and works for ~30 seconds. However, after that it starts turning on and off an makes a loud popping noise in the headphones and to people on a call. I tried with an iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPad (6th Gen), iPad Pro 11" (2020); none of them worked.Works fine with a PC, but DO NOT BUY FOR iPhone OR iPad!!

Needs to be really close
I was attracted to this product as it came with phone adaptors, making it a very reasonable purchase. But the microphone only picks up from a very close up distance, and does not work at all if let's say it is more than 15cm away. The sound quality was fine -if I recorded from a "kissing the mic" distance, though at this distance lots of words pop without an extra filter. The volume button doesn't make any difference, I'm not sure if my product is faulty. Otherwise decent materials used, no software needed, works just fine by simply plugging it and rather good quality recording from close up. I still have to return it as I need a microphone that picks up my voice from a more reasonable distance as I need to use it for live sessions, without me having to kiss the mic.

Too much noise feedback
worked well with iphone no problems there, noise cancellation function was also quite effective however any recordings made using this mic had quite an intrusive electrical feedback and made recordings unusable, sent back for a refund

This microphone is lit!
This microphone is actually so good. I recently started a music podcast with my friend and I ordered this as I was just using earphones before. Firstly it comes with an adapter to plug directly into my phone and one for laptops so that’s handy. The sound quality is so good! I’m just recording with the mic in front of me with a cheap pair of £10 earphones plugged in and it’s amazing! It actually picks up sound really well (it picked up a motorbike in the background of my Audio once because I forgot to turn on the noise cancellation) but yes this is the go to mic if you want value for money. I got one for my podcaster friend too and when we both start using it the quality will be amazing!!!!
