My iPhone 7+ gets light use. I charged this new battery, (bought and installed in August 2022) and it did not need another charge for a WEEK!!! To contrast, my old, nearly dead battery, was needing a charge everyday, but then just stopped holding a charge at all.So, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I am hopeful that it will last for several years.Here are my tips to you for installing. Watch lots of YouTube videos. REALLY get to know all steps of the process before you start.Also, those screws are REALLY small in there. Get a magnet to hold them.Also, make a special note of the set with the “longer” screw, and where it is…(all the way out by the right edge of the center plate- just look carefully).Also, have a magnifying glass, you will be happy you do. It will REALLY help you identify the screw tip bits.And…IMPORTANT- really study the way the screen connectors look, and how they line up with their sockets on the boards.Then, seriously remember, after you reconnect all the screen cables (you will feel most of them “click in” when they are right)… TEST BEFORE you apply the seal and position the screen.I GOOFED!! So trust me.I forgot to do a power on, test before putting the screen back on. When I did turn on my phone, I had a black screen with some intensely colored pinstripes on my screen. White, yellow, and pink! But, no Apple logo, or password screen. So, I had to open my phone again. Remove my screws again. Then remove, and reattach the screen connectors.I noticed that I got a better “click” on one of the center 2 cables. When I tested my phone the second time (BEFORE sealing the screen) the expected Apple appeared, and all was well.UPDATE: January 12, 2023, and it is still working BRILLIANTLY! Still happy, still glad I got it!

Ok so far so good! Battery is lasting great. Install was pretty easy but do watch a few videos on YouTube! I found one where it was both taking out the Battery and putting it back together. Make sure you remove the old seal before adding the new one, the tweezers worked great for this too! After I was complete the phone turned right on and charged with ease. We have been testing out the Battery and it is lasting way more than expected! We drove 45 mins with GPS on, not plugged in and the battery only went down 4%! The old one would have been over 60% gone. We checked the battery life/health in the phone settings and it showed the battery was at 100%! Definitely worth it!

Installed in an iPhone 7 Plus and after 12 days sitting powered on (no used, juat sitting), battery still has 16% life remaining.Install was fairly simple, but would recommend picking up some better quality tools if you don't already have them.

This battery works well. However, to replace the battery on your iphone, be cautioned:1) you need to have some minimal level of mechanical skills and understanding. the video instructions are from a different company (ifixit) and only show disassembly. You will need to infer some reassembly steps. They leave out things like when to replace the seal. If you do not have mechanical inclination, this is not a task for you. (other youtube videos are helpful, but i never found one that was a perfect step-by-step video)2) you need to have fine motor skills and nimble fingers to deal with the tiny screws and connections3) you need to have great eyesight4) you must be organized to track all of the screws -- they are tiny and not the same size

Installation is much more difficult than I anticipated and you have few instructions. They send you to a YouTube video that uses different tools than included, goes by VERY fast, and ends with to reassemble reverse the steps. Fortunately, I went to the video after the one recommended and had a little more detail.Getting to cover off is much more difficult than shown. No instruction on how to use the suction cup or how much force is required to get the first opening to be able to slide in the plastic tool to break the seal. After an hour of heating reheating and working with it I finally got it open.The screws are VERY small and keeping track of them is very important and difficult. Not much bigger than the head of a pin. I was fortunate enough to have a small magnetic board from another kit that I was able to use to hold them. Otherwise keeping up with them would have been almost impossible AND you need to re-install them in the exact same place as they are different lengths. While the instructions tell you to use a 000 screwdriver, the kit does not tell you which of the 3 bits are what size or where to use them. You just have to figure it out on your own. I used a too-small bit on one of the screws and almost stripped out the head. A plus is the bits are magnetized which helps with removal and installation.Using the tweezers helps but again be careful squeezing too hard or too light and your pinhead size screw takes off and is almost impossible to find.After a couple of hours, I was able to get the job completed and all is working well. I am fairly technical and have worked on electronics in the past but this maxed out my abilities and patients. So unless you have the hands of a surgeon, good eyesight, and technical knowledge I would not recommend this.

After 6 months battery is still working great and hold charge

That battery it's so easy to install, the tools able to get everything done, I would recommend, the battery charger well and keeping for awhile.

Installed the new battery and noticed it wouldn’t hold charge when plugged into charger. Then my phone kept turning off and on and displaying different battery life every minute or so. The product then got really hot and warped my phone. I have pics to prove everything. I reinstalled my old battery that only has 82 percent battery life left and now my phone works fine but with a battery that runs out in 30 min. Really wasted my money and time. I live out in the country so I would have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest shipping center to return item. Not even worth the 90 minute drive back and forth to ship the item for refund. I’d be spending the same amount in gas. Fricken stupid.
