Bouncy curls
This is my go to for long lasting curls. A dime size drop in the palm of my hand. I rub my hands together then rub through my hair. I comb through my hair with my fingers then give a little scrunch. It has a long lasting, soft to the touch all day hold without the heaviness of other similar products. I have tried other products recommended by the salon but ALWAYS go back to this - it is cheaper, softer and better smelling than other products and it can be delivered whenever I need.

My hair is curlier now!
First let me start by saying I have 2a/2b, very thin, bright purple hair. I have tried several different curly hair systems, and I have to say this is the BEST I've ever used. I started using the shampoo and conditioner, curl cream, and gel.The shampoo cleans my hair beautifully without stripping my color. I have not felt for the need to use a clarifying shampoo since I started with this brand. Yet it leaves my hair soft and manageable even without the conditioner. It smells nice but not strong. Oh and it dies not have a lot of sudsing so be careful the first time you use it. You will be tempted to use 3x the amount you need. Just make sure you hair is soaking wet and put a quarter size (for my thin hair) to you scalp and you will amazed at how it will clean your hair. The condition is so great! It gives great slip in the shower but does not leave a film or make my thin hair greasy. Nor does it weigh it down at all. I use a bit more than a quarter size and it is plenty. It rinses out so beautifully but still gives me that slip I am looking for while I scrunch my hair in the shower. So because my hair is so thin, I usually cannot use curl creams or at least not too much. It will weigh down my hair. But not this one. It actually helps tighten and curl my curls. No other curl cream has done that for me...ever! Before using this entire system my hair was more close to 1c/2a. Yes you read that right. Not anymore. My hair is so curly. I had no idea it could get that curly. Wow. All my friends have noticed, my husband, and even my kids. I love my hair now!Oh and somehow these products make my hair thicker. I have a scrunchy I use. Usually it goes around my hair 3 times to keep it up. Now with these products, at the end if the day when I put my hair up it goes around 2x. That's not to say I couldn't go a 3rd, but I don't need to now to make it stay. So cool! And my hair looks fuller and thicker as well.Oh. I need to mention the crunch. None to very little. I have put this to the test and used a LOT for my hair and still very little crunch. Only beautifully SOFT, touchable curls. Once my hair is dry, (I blow dry about 50% dry & air dry the rest on most days) I shake it out a bit and fluff the roots a bit and it just look beautiful. I go 4 days between washings and it looks good for all 4 days.Humidity test. I live in southern Cald and it is summer right now. My hair has not frizzed out at all. Last summer I wore ponytails a lot because of the frizz. I LOVE this stuff!I am sure you can tell my enthusiasm for this shampoo, conditioner, curl cream, and gel. GET IT! It's worth it, especially if you have my hair. I originally bought a travel set as a trail of this product and now I am sold and this is my curly hair product. Anyone need a brand new bottle of Cantu shampoo and conditioner? I will never go back

Curly hair must have
Love this for my curly hair. Definitely keep this on hand. Keeps my hair curly all day. Not sticky. Scent is decent.

Finally!
A friend of mine has REALLY curly hair and I noticed one day that it was just looking so…soft and fluffy (but not frizzy) and complimented her on a great hair day. She told me she had just started using this product so I thought about maybe trying it out for a couple of weeks or so before I decided to just go ahead and buy it to see how it worked for me. My hair is a weird combo of anything from a 2A-2C depending on the humidity level (it’s very dry in Phoenix most of the year except during monsoon season in the summer). So I rarely ever just let it air dry because I never know how it’ll turn out Monsoon season started and I kept fighting my hair to straighten it every day until I finally got sick of making that effort just to have my hair start getting wavy before I even finished actually straightening it in the first place.I took her advice and actually applied it to my hair before I got out of the shower so it was dripping wet (kind of annoying because well, it’s just annoying having wet hair). I brushed my hair straight, parted it, then just flipped my head upside down to separate it some to speed up the drying time a little. While I was putting my makeup on periodically I would just kind of spread my fingers and do a little more idk, waving motions? Again, just to help it’s start to fluff up a little and dry faster (seriously, I HATE wet hair). By the time I was ready to walk out the door to head to work, my hair was still more wet than I was willing to be seen in public with, so I did one more flip and used the diffuser for my hair dryer (more finger waving in the hair again) long enough to reach my comfort level of being out in the real world behind my house.I got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS that day at work! Most people didn’t even know I have naturally wavy (sometimes closer to a real curl) hair because I put so much time and effort into straightening it but it was a big hit and was told by everyone I should wear it like that more often.I tried it again the next day (I felt like I put too much in on day one) but I didn’t add it when my hair was as wet as the first time (I only had the towel wrapped on my head for about three minutes) but I regretted it because I didn’t get quite the same oomph or consistency (remember, my hair varies in the level of wave vs straightish on different parts of my head🙄). So next time I’ll just suck it up and stick with the dripping wet method that worked best for me. Idk if it’ll work as well for everyone else, but it worked best like that for my goofy hair. I would say just experiment for yourself. Two final notes: first, it really does smell as nice as people in other reviews say! But not cloying intensity so it’s not likely to bother many people. I have a very strong sense of smell and things can be overpowering to me that other people can barely smell. I actually didn’t find it offensive or too strong, so yay! Second and final thought: I don’t typically use any hair product behind a heat protectant because I despise the feel of STUFF in my hair. This product doesn’t give me that annoying feeling (once it’s dried and I didn’t use too much lol) so it doesn’t make me cringe when I touch it. Good luck to all the curly girls out there!

didn' do what I wanted
My hair stylist used bed head tigi style cream on my hair and it was fabulous. It helped curl and define my hair. I tried to find it, but no one has any and I read it was discontinued. I needed to find a new style cream that did the same type of definition on my curls. I saw this and it seemed to fit the idea.I tried it and it did not define or make my curls bounce. It did work to help my curls but not with the type of style I desired. So, I returned it and am trying a different product.I think it is good if you just want to have gentle curls, but I wanted tighter curls which this didn't do.

Hold but not so noticeable
This holds my curls as well as mousse but doesn’t make it look like I have product in it. Seems to keep my curls from frizzing pretty well for a day or 2.

My new fav!
This stuff is amazing! I have wavy to barely curly hair and this is the best I’ve found so far. I’ve used it alone and in combination with the foam and love them both. This has no bad smell either!

Love it!
This is the best hair cream for curly hair and I’ve tried them all! Make certain that you put it in your hair when it is dripping wet in the shower so that it will effectively cover all of your hair without being too heavy
