Best Swarm Trap!
This is the best swarm trap. I had a swarm in the air moving through my yard and had recently bought this trap but it was still in the box. I ran to my shop and put it together in minutes and brought it out, but unfortunately, they moved on by the time I came back. I went ahead and hung the trap on a tree since I had assembled it and to my amazement, there were bees in it the next day! This is can be re-used over and over as well making it a great tool to add to your toolbox. I want to have at least 3 of these rraps ready next Spring!

Thoughtful customer service!
I purchased this back in February and, even here in South Florida, it wasn’t warm yet. I just opened the box today and to my delight there were handwritten notes on the instruction sheets from Mr. Frye! He indicated in his notes that it’s OK to text or call him anytime!I purchased an already assembled box. It is sturdy, lightweight, and very well-made. The included instruction sheet gave tips where to hang, which I greatly appreciated. I am a new person to bee keeping. The smell is amazing and the inclusion of attractor lure is a plus.As I was attaching it to a 4 x 4 pole in my backyard there were three or four solitary bees flying around me and the box! I’m hoping they were Scout bees and they’ll let their hive know there’s a new place in town!! I’ll update the review after a bit to let you know how successful this is!

Think like a bee and get the interceptor
The media could not be loaded. I bought the Interceptor Pro it came with everything as advertised. Its design and construction are top notch. I installed it with one long screw and hung it on my back porch. I put the vial of Swarm Commander and lemon grass oil and frames that it came with and one old frame I had from last year that had a little bit of pollen and capped honey. I don't think that frame was necessary, I think the Swarm Commander is really what attracted the scouts. I also think the design of the box mimics a tree cavity well and lastly it's so portable you can place anywhere. I got to see the swarm today because it's outside my office window! For reference I put it out the last week of March and caught this swarm today, April 24th.Inside the box Mr. Frye the owner and creator sent a little piece of paper with his name and cell phone number that urges you to call or text him with any questions. He's walking bee encyclopedia and it's obvious he loves what he does. The price alone is worth having his number, can't say enough good things about this product!

100% Works
I live on the Tundra, endless fields of corn and soybeans horizon to horizon, commercial farming in full swing. Rarely even see honeybees, I would assume it is like running a gauntlet out here for a Honeybee. Brutal winters, miles of crops sprayed with pesticides etc... etc... Bought 4 Interceptor Pro kits late in the season. Hung them along the tree line of the grove. Amazingly a couple of months later (very late in the season) I noticed movement on one of them as i was driving by........ BEE's!!!!Not a big swarm at all but still Honeybee's!! I gave them about 3-weeks to get going in the swarm trap then pulled the frames and transferred them to a hive. They are slowly getting up to speed, I planted a couple acres of pollinator flowers in the spring, but it is late in the season, so they are struggling to collect enough pollen to really build. Winter is coming. No more flowers, temps are dropping, got a cold streak in the 20's. Hive is dormant, but still living, we shall see what spring brings.Bottom Line if the Interceptor can attract a swarm out here it will do great anywhere else. Get One you will not regret it.

High quality box and good instructions, but no bees
We followed instructions closely but didn't have any luck catching any bees this summer. Will try again next year.
