Great pair of loppers reasonably priced!
The first order I placed was damaged in transit. I have ordered this again so hopefully it will arrive without any damage. We ordered this same lopper years ago and it is wonderful!! Thank you Update: Second pair of loppers arrived and they are just what we expected. These are wonderful to use, light enough for me to use to cut small tree branches and shrubs. Our neigbor was so impressed with them he ordered a pair. I would recommend these loppers!

By far the best Loppers I've owned
After busting my fingers on a pair of loppers from one of the big box stores too many times, decided it was time for a new and better pair. With so many great reviews, settled on this model from Tabor Tools. I wish I had bought them a lot sooner. They are SHARP right out of the box and cut like butter on smaller branches. I've used them to cut green branches even larger than the jaws of these can handle by cutting from both sides. They are fabulous. When you pick these up for the first time, you can feel they are well made. High-quality materials and fabrication. They are a great value. Highly recommended.

OK tool that will likely get the job done.
I'm a little disappointed with this tool. Based on other reviews, I was ready for some kind of SuperTool! Maybe unrealistic expectations - the tool performs adequately, not incredibly. It replaced a 40 year old Craftsman lopping shear which had parts wearing out. The bypass blades were not cutting the way they used to and branches were getting caught in the blades. The Tabor lopper cut fairly well but not as well as the Craftsman lopper when it was new. It's a bit on the heavy side - not bad for a lopper of this size but understand this is serious cutting. I found it could cut branches up to about 1 1/4 inch. It's a little cumbersome .... one has to jockey around other branches to get the jaws fully open to cut larger branches but that's not unique to this tool. Construction quality is robust and it should last a long time.Maybe I'm being a little hard on the Tabor. I'd like to give it 4.5 stars but that's not allowed. It's an adequate tool which will do what you need it to do - just don't look to be blown away.

High quality, stays sharp
The thing I like best about the GG11A is the lever advantage Tabor loppers have over simple pivot movements. I couldn't cut through some hardwood branches with pivot loppers but I no longer think about how much strain I need to apply. I also prefer the *scissors* action of the GG11A to the *anvil* action of some pruners. Light weight and good quality.

Best garden loppers I have ever owned, and I have bee gardening for 40 years now.
I used the Corona loppers in the past and spent more time adjusting the telescoping mechanism that never stayed where I set it. One day I saw my neighbor joyfully using these loppers so I researched them and found them on Amazon. Now I love to prune overhead and hard to reach areas in my garden. Sorry Corona…I found a better product.

Clean cuts and sturdy
I've destroyed 2 pairs of loppers from big box store and wanted a commercial quality tool. I pruned a large overgrown hedgerow and low branches on different types of trees. Very happy with ease of use, clean cuts for tree health, and overall feel and ergonomic design. It's a bit heavy when working above your head, but it's made of real steel and it should hold up for years of use.
