This remote starter switch is STOUT! It’s exactly what I needed. I have purchased two of those trigger switches in the past and they are not durable in the slightest. Think about the situation you use these in: Bringing back an old motor! A lot of times, the remote ends up being dropped down the firewall, maybe on to hot exhaust or worse, a cooling fan! Regardless, you want something that’s not made from lamp wire and cheap plastic.This remote switch is NOTHING like the pistol grip plastic junk. The wires are thick and the insulation is also thick. The button itself is well made and when you press it, you get an affirmative “click” which means the switch itself is beefy. You want this in situations where you have to endure long cranking while fiddling with adjustments, etc. While only jumping a solenoid of some type, the remote still tends to get a bit hot so you want something that can endure the current, grease, grime, fuel and other crap often found when building an engine.The clamps are also VERY stout and apply a firm positive grip on posts unlike the cheap clamps found in other remotes.I could go on and on but in the end it’s all about value for use. This one is a good one. I see others that have the same photo but I doubt they are this well made. I can attest to this brand and what they offer because it is exactly what I was looking for. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Super convenient if you've got stuff ya need to eyeball under the hood while starting, trying to start, or briefly starting your vehicle. I bought it to help make a suspected no-fuel problem on my old pickup easier to chase. And it did just that as I was then able to tend to the carburetor AND observe fuel line/pump pressure during startup.Comes with easy to follow instructions for how to hook it up to most old-school vehicles. It looks and feels very solid. And I like that it has a power light to let you know you've got a good connection.
