I have used this paint through out the construction of the dune buggy.It's not an ultra high gloss paint but that's what I was after.The last part of the buggy to paint was the rear bumper. I waited for a nice low humidity day and painted it outside. The can says 4 hours drying time but in the Florida sun it was dry to the touch in about 2 hours.It's expensive but well worth the added cost.

Have cleaned and painted the complete underside of Moms 81 Buick Regal with Eastwood's Rust encapsulator and Chassis black during my LS swap, looks great.

This paint is nothing like it used to be years ago! Before Eastwood came out with multiple levels or grades of these chassis paints, this stuff was great. It used to cover very nice and was easy to use. Now, this stuff seems like it is so thin and is hard to get a nice finish. I don't know for sure, but it almost seems like they thin this on purpose to try to get you to buy their "new and improved" stuff. For what they charge, this stuff should at least be somewhat good. I would of been better off buying generic $5 spray paint than this crap. I usually don't post bad reviews, but as you can tell this purchase has rubbed me the wrong way. I've had good results with other Eastwood products, but I can no longer recommend this chassis paint.

If your not familiar with the product line of this company but your into cars then I suggest you look into there stuff it’s all good stuff especially the rattle can paints!

I applied it about a month ago and the parts have been in the weather and elements and so far, so good. I love this product!
