I needed this mesh to fill a space between the bottom slat of a fence and the ground, to a) keep out cats b) retain a tonne of stone chips. It works well for this, stapled to the fence and bent underneath the weed suppressant on the ground, prior to covering with the stones. Its strong but flexible enough to bend into the shape you need. Would recommend buying some mini bolt cutters if you need to cut it.

I bought this to help with insulation and ventilation aspects of a new shed/workshop. Did the job perfectly, cuts well with a good pair of metal shears although being in roll form brings some challenges. Good service and would buy again.

Perfect for putting round our new solar panels to stop bird ingress.Only issue was I had to cut narrower strips to get correct width, but good value for money nonetheless.

Does the job

This is a very secure mesh fencing reel that has been welded at every intersection where the wire crosses. IT looks like it has been heavily galvanised and will withstand shock and heavy weather for a good few years.The wire can be easily cut with steel sheers or wire cutters, and of course, ideally, you follow the line of the squares for an accurate line.In terms or stiffness and durability, well, just make sure you wear gloves when you fit it. The wire is stiff and will easily stop a fox or rabbit from gaining access, providing the wire is correctly braces with structural members along the run of the hen coop.I really don't think anything will break or damage this wire when correctly fitted. It allows just the right amount of air and light through the 12mm mesh while providing maximum strength and durability.At £39 it's quite dear, but buying from Amazon will save you a trip to the nearest farm shop. It may be cheaper there, but When I checked my local dealer was out of stock, so get it while you can from Amazon.

This wire is great quality and is well made with every join being welded and so making it far sturdier than many other wire mesh. This is perfect for keeping animals such as rabbits in and animals such as cats and dogs out. It is also great wire to use with birds but if you are going to put parrots in a cage/aviary with this mesh it is essential that you wash is with a vinegar solution to remove the toxic dust that will be on the mesh. This roll is easy to handle and use, and basic wire cutters can easily cut this mesh. I'm really happy with this mesh and would definitely buy it again.
