It did take awhile to get it but it was exactly what the kitchen faucet needed and it was easy to install. No plumber needed. Very pleased

My faucet was loose and eventually the bolt holding the single handle broke off, I thought i was about to be out a few hundred bucks and a weekend for repair. Purchased this kit and it came with everything I needed to replace the bolt, took me 30 minutes of work, but it was a perfect fit and came with everything I needed to repair my kitchen faucet handlebar. Excellent quality - holding strong for 6+ months now with no issues.

The product quality is 5 stars. I only wish the written instructions were a bit more clear. This is a VERY easy repair with the proper instructions.1. Make sure you pay close attention to how you remove the “adapter” held down by “set screw”, and how the black plastic “connector” is built to swivel to slide onto it.2. Note that the back of the adapter has a lip that slots into a groove above the “pivot stop”.3. To slot it in properly you have be sure the “cartridge stem” is full pressed down (i.e.water is not running. You can press down on the stem with your finger to turn off the water.)4. Attach the connector to the adapter. It slides right on with the bigger, square shapes hole facing down.5. Then, swing the connector up at an angle and slot the adapter’s lip in while shimmying the connector onto the stem. It’s very easy once you figure it out.If you haven’t done this properly you won’t be able to turn the water off, and the handle will swivel 360 degrees.

One day about six months ago, I heard my wife shriek. The sound was coming from the kitchen. She yelled "Help!" and I came running. I found her frantically trying to thread the handle of our older Moen kitchen faucet valve handle back into place as water spewed out of the faucet. The set screw had worked its way loose, and the handle went flying unexpectedly. Unfortunately, the set screw head had been damaged in the past, and we couldn't really make it completely tight. Trips to the big box stores and local hardware stores elicited blank stares and shrugs. Months went by and we lived with a jiggly funky faucet. We were saving up for a completely new faucet but one day while cleaning out files we found the original paperwork saved by the former homeowner. This allowed us to discover the series number and track down this nifty little kit of essential parts. The instructions were excellent, and we discovered that the faucet had not quite been put together correctly from the beginning, About ten minutes of tinkering yielded a like-new faucet valve that now works better than ever before. This is a fantastic kit, and kudos to Moen for uniformity in many of their parts. This kit fits many different faucet series. Happy as can be, and I got a smile and a kiss from a very grateful wife.

What a great idea that I could just purchase the items I needed to fix my faucet without having to buy a complete new faucet or have to purchase a bunch of parts that aren't needed to fix one thing.had my sink repaired in less than 30 minutes. How much to hire a plumber? Definite money saver.

I recently had to replace the cartridge in my shower and, in the process, stripped the hex cap screw that secures the Moen handle to the cartridge. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find the right size screw to replace it with! I had the option of buying a large variety pack in the hopes that one of them would fit (and wouldn't rust), or buy a new handle (at $50 or so). Came across this item and, yes, $5 may be a bit much to pay when you just need that one screw, but ... since it was a Moen replacement part, I took a gamble and .. it fit perfectly. I can once again turn the shower handle without it falling off, and anyone standing down wind from me is appreciate that I can once again use the shower!

I've had my Moen faucet for over 13 years, I've had to replace this part 3 times. It's a simple task and well worth it rather than purchasing another faucet.
