Did exactly as intended. Was easy to install - we have a CD drive so this helped. Really noticeable improvement in WiFi on the PC. Very happy with purchase, and company have been really good with offering help and sending updates to drivers for usage

this is a very good Wi-Fi dongle I play lord of the rings online and my desktop dos not have a wi-fi card but I've used this and it was set up in no time. playing the game I did not get any lag or loss of packages and this was in a hi lv raid. so I'm very happy with this as it works as well as when the desktop is wired to the net.

Installed in a couple of minutes. Very simple, used the mini-CD provided, ran setup, plugged in the dongle and it worked right away, and very well! My laptop built in WiFi had issues, kept dropping off every 30 seconds. No new drivers for it, so decided to install this USB dongle. Glad I did and would recommend this product. Can't speak for its longevity yet as I only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far, I'm very impressed.Update: Sadly, because the dongle sticks out quite a bit from my laptop, it is prone to get knocked. It finally broke off after nearly a year of careful use. I took off one star for that reason.

These are really good l have a tv in another part of my house,so l stuck one of these in my fire stick works on it,so you have no need to have wires every where

Let me start by saying I use the internet A LOT. I almost always have youtube or twitch streaming content to my pc and frequently download games, whats important here is my pc doesn't get much of a break . When my wifi broke I first bought a little button adaptor and it overheated badly, it was so bad I actually burnt myself trying to take it out my pc.This though, this has been brilliant. It was plug and play, it's design keeps it cool even under stress, & it gets me a solid connection even through walls. It's everything I needed it to be.I won't lie, I don't understand half the stuff written on the box but after a few weeks of use this product has kept up with everything I have thrown at it.

Short Story:It works, it will give you very basic wifi in about 2 minutes out of the box with no need to download or install anything on windows 10.HOWEVER, that basic wifi is 10 TIMES SLOWER than all the other wifi devices I've tested in the same room.It works but it is very slow, and ultimately does not grant the speeds or specification that it advertises on the packet.Long Story:So I wanted to use this to connect my Desktop Gaming PC to the Router that is in the other room.Using Google Speed test for the wifi speedMy Phone gets: 203 mb/s DownloadThis usb wifi adaptor gets: 33 mb/s DownloadAnd that is testing them one after the other while they are right next to each other.The wifi adaptor was originally getting about 13 mb/s but after using a USB extender and placing it high above my desk rather than under it, I could get up the 33 mb/s.

Took me some time to find the properly drivers for Linux. The Linux drivers included on the cd didn’t work. Overall the adapter works fine.

Replaced a previous failed attempt to add WIFI to a desktop and worked first time. no antennae on the earlier stick, so that may have proved to be the difference.
