Just like old times
This sling shot, aka wrist rocket, works great. The tubing is nice and strong for a good pull. One broke and they sent me whole new sling shot. Big yes from me.

Good overall
Not very sturdy when you pull it to the max. But still happy with my purchase.

Helps keep the varmints away
The wrist brace makes aiming more accurate. Has helped me scare off a few varmints and has good range.

Gets the job done
I work as a sound mixer in the film industry. I needed a way to scare away noisy birds without harming them or damaging near by properties. The slingshot was a perfect fit to the task.. A few laughs and giggles soon ended when, on first use, scared away the noise creatures and allowed an intimate exterior scene to be shot bird noise free..

Fun for kids, but not great for trying to aim
This was fun for the kids to just pop things in the air, but one side was shorter than the other so was impossible to aim. The strap that goes over your arm also kept coming disconnected. It was ok for price, but not great quality.

Breaks quickly, but salvageable
Bought four of these and two of the Daisy B52 Wrist Rockets. The Daisy B52 is much better constructed, and the pouch is narrower and made of thicker material. The Umarex wrist braces came much looser, and all of the handles started developing cracks after a couple of weeks of use. The wireframe is slightly wider than the matching molding in the plastic handles, meaning it applies stress to the plastic constantly until it breaks. This is a safety issue, especially since the frame doesn't have a "full tang" into the handle, and makes it possible that the wireframe will break off and come flying back at your head upon drawing.By removing the handle and brace, you're left with the wireframe and tubes. Throw on a wrist lanyard for safety and some shrink tube or paracord for comfort, choke up on the fork with a pinch or thumb-supported grip instead of the old hammer grip, and it's actually a pretty serviceable slingshot. That being said, the included tubes drastically limit performance. They're designed to last long in the package and to take some abuse, but their thickness means that it takes a good deal of force to draw while delivering less than optimal speed. Thicker latex doesn't retract as quickly as thin, and tubes have more internal friction than flat bands. Cut the tubes off at the fork, tie on a good pair of latex (not rubber) flat bands, and you'll be much happier with performance and accuracy. SimpleShot has a helpful, short video on how to do this, as well as videos on matching bands to ammo.
