Great Saw for the money
Great saw but I couldn't get the blade in.After a few tries I used a flat head screw driver and gently separated the opening and it went right in. Go ahead, it's a great tool.

Typical DeWalt Quality!
This reciprocating saw is built like a tank!I especially like the ease with which blades can be inserted. 1/4 turn of the chuck, insert and release the chuck. Easy-peasy!Lots of power from the 20V battery.Highly recommended!

Great saw
This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first one was 18 volt, and I have used it for several years. This 20 volt one seems a lot more powerful and the batteries last longer.

Who needs a chainsaw. Great for light duty brushwork.
Who needs a chainsaw.. I bought this to deal with pruning of shrubbery and branches less than 3" or so. Works great with a pruning blade. A good alternative when a chainsaw would be overkill. With two 5A Batteries, it'll last longer than my forearms. I've already got several hours on it with no sign of it getting loose or sloppy.

Great tool, packing was lacking
I waited over two weeks for an item that seemed to be previously opened? Delivery date changed 2-3 times but I wasn't busy and didn't care as much.Now I do because I can't tell if it's been opened before. I've had boxes that were glued, and some that were taped (when buying new from a store in the past years) This one seemed open and it had me irritated from the start. It's spotless and seems brand new, but I hate the feeling of uncertainty on simple purchases but I am a little OCD at times. At $127 for the tool only and seeing what other options with batteries cost, it should be fine. I guess compared to shopping in the stores these days with over zealous security and everything STRAPPED DOWN because of thieves, I will suck it up and be happy I had the money to even purchase it, lol.It is brand new, works fine, I'll be ok. 🇺🇸🫡

Made projects easier!
I wish I would have gotten this sooner. This saw made projects a lot easier to complete. This compact version is light and makes cut quality better and faster! I recommend adding this to your power tools!
