TOMO and 'kraut
as you can tell from the order date and the delivery date, i have only had my tomo for about two weeks, BUT i will say that the crock is very user-friendly and we talk every day. my first batch of sauerkraut is still "cooking" and will probably not be ready until about 31 may, though i have been tempted to test the product before my three weeks is officially up. the contents almost smell like 'kraut so i think that we are on the right path. if you want to get back to me in a week or so, i should have more relevant news --daniel

Fermenting Fun and Stylish
I ordered a second Tomo crock because I had so much success with the first one! Am onto my third batch of sauerkraut with the first one and a new batch of pepper mash for hot sauce with the second one. No issues with mold. The water lock is fabulous - very satisfying to hear little burps every once in awhile. Just keep an eye on the rim to keep it filled so no air gets in. The ceramic itself is of high quality and looks great on my counter as we wait to see what treasures ferment inside!

Good quality and attractive.
I moved into a new home and discovered I was the proud owner of an olive tree. I decide to cure them and after a little study I decided to purchase 2 of these. They worked perfectly and were actually attractive in my new kitchen. I would highly endorse purchasing these.

Seals good with water on the top around the lid
I make sour kraut and it's delicious. Love the look and quality of the pot. Water seal on top is good.

Loved it so much I bought a second one!
I’m happy to share my experience! I bought my first Tomo 7-liter crock in January, and made my first batch of homemade sauerkraut. It was delicious and amazingly easy. Then I started wondering about moving on to kosher dills and other fermented foods. The crock was so well made and frankly, so beautiful on the counter, that I decided to order a second one so I could do two products at the same time. The pickles will be ready next week and the next batch of sauerkraut the week after that. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and great looks of these crocks!

Great Fermentation Pot
Love, love, love this fermentation pot! My husband had been stationed in Korea and was getting nostalgic for kimchi. I said I could learn to make it and bought this pot straightaway after researching different types and sizes of fermentation vessels. This one is attractive and thoughtfully designed. The weights are great for keeping cabbage submerged and the lid design allows the pot to “burp” but does not let air in when water is added inside the rim. Now my husband enjoys the sauerkraut I make him even more than the kimchi!
