Donginbi1899 Single Essence EX 70ml & Cleansing Foam 50ml Special Set - Anti-Aging face essence with Korean Red Ginseng for Radiance and Repair

I’ve been using Donginbi products for 3 years and constantly get compliments about my skin and looking younger than my age. This has a very light fragrance and is absorbed quickly.

I’ve used the face wash, essence and moisturizer for over a year. I don’t write reviews but this stuff works really well…soothing, light with a pleasant scent….and I’m very sensitive to scents.

I got this because 1: it was supposed to be a SINGLE INGREDIENT ESSENCE of just ginseng and 2: it was hyped alotThey keep claiming that the only scent is from the ginseng, but if you have used any of Donginbi's products than you know that is NOT the truth. It is heavily perfumed, i guess because people dont like the scent of ginseng. I DO like the scent of ginseng. This smells like a musky perfume and the face wash kinda makes my skin feel dry. Love the consistency of the essence even if it isnt just a single ingredient essence. Its dense and feels very luxurious , the scent burns my face though. If that type of stuff doesnt bother you, maybe try it. I wouldnt though because they actively lie about it having scent/perfume added to it. I can barely used it long enough to even see if it works.

I have sensitive skin so I did a 24 hour patch test on the sensitive part of my neck prior to using. If there is an issue my skin usually reacts pretty quickly. So far I've had no sensitivity issues or breakouts. I am surprised by how immediate the moisture retaining ability of this product was evident when simply adding it to my current skin care routine using other brands that work for my sensitive( and dry if not moisturized regularly) skin. I'm honestly not sure why, but I almost immediately noticed an increased softness and radiance as well. I have a scent sensitivity and I have had no issues with the scent or complaints from my husband who is even more scent sensitive than I am.I'm glad I decided to add this product to my skin care routine.

I hate to spend so much on something, especially when I'm not sure what it's doing (if anything!) but my sensitive skin loves this stuff. It's hard for me to use it daily because of the cost, but I do sometimes anyway. I always use it after I exfoliate because it just calms and comforts my skin. I only buy it when it's on sale

I used the DONGINBI 1899 Single Essence, Cleansing Foam and Red Ginseng Extract for one week, and I see a difference in my face and neck. My skin is smoother with less visible lines.The scent is a little strange. It smells like old paper, but I can live with that because the products are so good.

I've been using the original DONGINBI 1899 Single Essence for quite a few years. This new EX version from the end of 2022 is heavily perfumed and irritates my sensitive skin. I'm really bummed because the old version was perfect for sensitive skin and had almost no smell to it. Why screw up a perfect essence? This is NOT the smell of Red Ginseng. I'm using quite a few other Donginbi products still and I'm hoping that they don't change them. Most of the amazing reviews are coming from the old version of this product. Now I'm on the hunt for a new perfect essence. Donginbi, please bring back the old version of this essence!!!

Super hydrating. Have received multiple compliments about my skin - one even after surgery! Hasn’t made me break out - will see how it does as we move into the AZ Summer
