It was a perfect fit for my 40v Kobalt lawnmower . The price wasn't outrageous either. It came with a charge, but waiting on my charger to give it a full charge. Would recommend.

The battery charges and runs exactly as it should.

This is a total waste of money! The first time I used in in my Kobalt lawn mower it worked for about 5 minutes . The second time after a full recharge it only worked about 1 minute. After that it will start the mower and with in seconds slows down and won’t cut at all.

Needed to buy a replacement battery pack for my electric lawn mower and this works great, and a bonus cause it actually last longer then the original equipment.

I had seen mixed feedback on these batteries, suggesting that they might not work with older Kobalt tools because of slight changes in the battery design. Received this battery yesterday, charged overnight and it worked fine in my Kobalt KM 2041B-06 mower (40v, 20-in deck) from 3-4 years ago.The battery does not last quite as long as my OEM 6MAh battery, but for the price it's a good value and provides plenty of extra runtime to get through my larger lawn. I'll try to remember to update at the end of the season on how the charge holds up after weekly usage & recharging all summer.

I was a little nervous buying these (I bought two) since I expected an inferior product to the original Kobalt batteries I had for a leaf blower, hedge clippers and weed wacker. Now almost two years later, and weekly use, I am extremely pleased. These batteries are powerful and long lasting. A great product in my opinion.

I bought this in 23.It worked great for 2 years.This year, it won't even charge.I expect a decline in charge capacity over time, but all out zero charge ability is very disappointing.The original kobalt batteries, now 5 years old, still charge and to 80% of their original capacity 5 years ago.I THINK THIS BATTERY IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. I realize it's out of warranty but expected a decline in performance not completely unable to charge.

I got this battery for my lawn mower, after I managed to do something really stupid, and destroy the original one. With this one being a 6 amp battery, I figured I would get a little more mowing out of it than the original 5 amp battery. However, it feels like I'm getting more than I expected. (Not so much more that I don't have to take the occasional break from mowing to recharge the battery. I have a pretty big lawn, and one charge is definitely not going to do it.)As an added bonus, I feel this battery charges faster than the original battery did. I can't confirm that - but it just seems like it does. I never timed the full charging cycle for the original battery to compare to this one.If you're contemplating this battery, don't hesitate. I'm thinking about getting a second one. I will still have to take at least one break for recharging. It's a pretty big lawn.
