I’ve never shopped for a tonneau cover before purchasing this one. My primary goal in getting a cover was to prevent stuff from walking away from my 2025 Tacoma if I had to leave a load unattended for a bit. Secondly, was to keep snow and rain out of the bed. Third, to save money, I hoped to do the install myself. This 45 lb. hard trifold cover accomplishes all 3 goals at an extremely reasonable price point.There’s lots of great information buried here in the reviews for this cover. I’ll reiterate a few items I learned here that were helpful to me and may be to others.The horizontal top of the bed side walls in the 4th gen. Tacoma noticeably taper towards the tailgate. This becomes apparent once you install the cover. The gap between the outside of the bed side wall near the cab and the cover is about 1 1/2” on each side. There is no gap down by the tailgate (see pictures). It can make it look like the cover is on cattywampus. It’s not. I’m sure there are other covers that handle the situation differently, but keeping the cover symmetrical makes the most sense to me.Because the Tacoma has rails around the inside of the bed, this cover attaches to the truck differently than it would for many other types of trucks. When you order this cover for a newer Tacoma, it should come with an additional parts kit to use the bed rails to secure the cover to the truck (see pictures).Armed with the knowledge of the items above, it took me about 45 minutes to install the cover without any surprises. Having done it once, I could probably do it in less than half that time now.The only tools I needed were a knife and an Allen wrench.When it’s all said and done, I am very pleased with this purchase. It looks great, adds protection from the elements and allows you to secure items in the bed.

Went on 400 Mile trip with it, after installing, works great. Minimal water leaks in, and I didn't even use the gaskets. Not as easy to open/close as the backflip but I don't care. Paid a third the price! Installation was simple after watching a couple YouTube videos. Best feature for me is I can remove the entire thing in minutes and have full access to the bed. Big plus since I have the 5 foot short bed. Only had a a month so long term reliability TBD but appears very well made.

The product is excellent, better than I expected for the price. The service by sender was exceptional. First it was sent but FedEx never delivered to my address, so I was immediately replaced with another one. It’s a very good material and even comes with extra spare parts.

I have never used or installed a bed cover previously and found the process to be very straightforward after watching a couple videos on YouTube. While it would be easier to move the cover into place with 2 people, I did the install by myself in about 20 min. It appears to be high quality, providing a secure storage area in my Tacoma. The cover comes with adapters to use the existing Tacoma accessory rail in the bed.

Very happy with this purchased, good quality feel, looks and fit nicely on my 2025 Tacoma Truck, it took me 45 minute's to complete the installation, the instruction is a little vague for the 2 front locked, but easy to figured out.

Great fit, easy install. The fit was perfect for my 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport. I did not need the insulation strip and the directions were clear that I did not need it. I have installed covers in the past so it was a breeze. If this is a first time install, the picture based instructions could use improvement.

Fit my 2023 Tacoma perfectly, 5-foot bed. Pretty easy to install. No drilling or special tools are needed. As per another reviewer I bought weatherstripping although it came with some I used the one I bought as it looked like it'd be better.
