If you do free hand gimbal work, this thing is a must. I was previously resting my gimbal on my love handles, but that hurt and I skimmed down. This thing provides a great resting spot in between shots. I shoot all day on gimbal and this has helped so muchI do not use this to add stability to shots - infact, I think it makes the shots worse as you can’t absorb your steps as well if the gimbal is holstered. It also came with elastic shoulder straps that were sort of pointless and uncomfortable.This is an amazing support piece, but will not improve your shot steadiness.

This allowed me to shoot for about 3x longer than I normally would have been able to shoot, given some pain I have in my back. It slightly limits the types of shots you can get, but it's easy enough to pop your gimbal in and out of the receiver to get low or other shots that require more mobility. For what you barely lose in mobility, you gain exponentially in comfort.

The gimbal strap isn’t. Feels low quality and will probably drop my gimbal but overall the belt is awesome

The support vest is comfortable and well built. Very helpful if you are going to be on your feet all day filming. Being able to let go of the gimbal for a bit is always appreciated. It takes a bit of time getting familiar with the connection/tie down points, but with practice it will come natural. It's also adjustable so you can shift the fit depending on what you're wearing. Overall I would purchase again and recommend it. Used with a Canon R5, rig, 100-400, 85, 35 RS3 Pro, and Atomos Monitor, + accessories.Also includes the mounting screws to use with Ronin Arms. This kit allows me to rest the base of the stabilizer on my hip/waist while I am between shots or prepping for the next shot saving my arms for when I need them most. Works best when the waist band is very tight.

Literally saves my back. I don't know how I have gone so long without some sort of support but wow what a change. I do weddings, so after lugging a 10-12lb camera around for 6-10 hours can be extremely daunting, and this makes it so much easier. HIGHLY recommend.
